Woods popped on our radar earlier this Summer with how he processed the game, made plays for teammates, and also used his bigs in PnR situations to get to his spots. He was a consistent standout that we went to go watch in multiple games, and we saw the same results, which lets us know that there’s something special there. Now we want to see how it’s grown and seeing if he has added pieces to his game that will make the game come easier for him and, even more importantly, if it changes in a different setting. This is a prove-it spot for a player we feel will be on more radars very soon.

Woods was the definition of an all out competitor for Olympic City Elite, giving 100 percent on every possession. He embraced the team first mentality, making the extra pass and using his vision to create quality opportunities for his teammates. Offensively he was effective from the mid range and showed the ability to attack the basket and finish through contact. His relentless effort, unselfish play and willingness to do whatever his team needed made him a key contributor. Woods’ motor never slowed down and his energy was felt from start to finish
