I watched that Grit team play on Saturday, and the player who was dominating and looked like their top guy was Ivan Wheaton Ivan Wheaton 6'1" | PG Doherty | 2028 State CO . Wheaton is not a player whom we knew before the event, but kept making plays. Using his length to be disruptive defensively and scoring over smaller defenders as well. In their first game on the day I saw him go for 21 points, in the game and he filled it up. He rebounded, started the break, and made plays for others. He’s a playmaking wing who you can run the offense through. He kept the ball in motion, cuts without the ball, and is a three-level scorer who should be on more radars. He jumped on the scene with his performance.
