Zion is a player who stood out for me with Hardwood Nation as he has good size and had moments at the Centennial State Cup where he flashed. He grabbed rebounds, finished inside, and can shoot the 3-ball, which speaks to his versatility. Each game, it seemed like a new part of his game opened up. He kept the ball high on rebounds, kicked it to the open man, and also stepped over and helped protect the paint as well. He had a few blocks, and there are clearly intangibles there of a player who has breakout potential. He’s a new name that stood out, and we have to see more of him. Solid weekend for him.

Solorzano is a high energy guard that was all over the place, coming down with boards getting second chance points and facilitating. He was a pest on the defensive end getting his hands in the passing lanes and getting some turnovers at times. He was able to attack the basket and finish on the inside as well.
