Wheaton is not a player whom we knew before the event, but kept making plays. Using his length to be disruptive defensively and scoring over smaller defenders as well. In their first game on the day I saw him go for 21 points, in the game and he filled it up. He rebounded, started the break, and made plays for others. He's a playmaking wing who you can run the offense through. He kept the ball in motion, cuts without the ball, and is a three-level scorer who should be on more radars. He jumped on the scene with his performance.

Rothe is not a player who is going to just wow you with huge scoring games or just a player you put it in his hands, and he goes and makes it happen, but when watching this team, he's a player who stands out with just making winning plays the entire time, and that is big for me because it's so duplicable. He delivered in every game that we watched because he was constantly hitting shots, he was making sure the defense had to find him, and he was constantly moving. Rothe challenged himself defensively, was boxing out, and making sure this team had extra scoring opportunities, and he has a high IQ as an off-ball guy. He's a young player worth keeping an eye on.

This was my first time getting eyes on Max, and he really impressed me. He controlled everything for his team as he has a very mature game. He was dominating inside as he kept getting to the basket. He got to where he wanted and scored. He went on a few runs by himself of just scoring or getting to the free throw line. He was also hitting the 3-ball as well on step-backs and other creative shots he created for himself. He's a player who they put the ball in his hands, and he makes it happen, and I will certainly watch this team again.

Thatch Jr. did it all for Tru Colorado this weekend. His athleticism stands out first as he gets out and runs, breaks defenders down in isolation, and cannot be denied getting to the rim. He had some strong finishes inside and uses his size and athleticism to get some easy finishes. He's a big guard who took on the defensive assignment as well, and that stood out for me as he challenged himself not hat end of the floor. He has a change of direction, a quick first step, and showcased an ability to score in various ways. He's a bully ball guard that plays with an edge, and with what we saw, he will be a player who will go into the rankings coming up soon.

Kamrin West, who was also an unknown, stood out on the day earning our attention with his play. He's a big body and physical player who protected the paint, he ran the floor, and finished in transition and was an interior presence. He scored with ease, battled on the block, and controlled the boards. I liked his ability to step out on guards for a few seconds but also keep a body on the big and have them work without fouling. He is physical, and the team rallies behind that strong play. We'll certainly keep eyes on him.
