The best part of summer and being assigned to the younger age groups is getting a glimpse into the future of basketball in the state. Every year, new names emerge and begin to make their mark, and the talent on display at The Tune Up proved that the future is in good hands. From high-level skill and athleticism to confidence and competitiveness, these 14U standouts didn't disappoint and showed why they're players to keep an eye on moving forward.    Curtis brought a spark every time he stepped on the floor for 7070. He played with a real edge, attacking the game with toughness, nonstop energy and confidence. His shooting mechanics looked smooth and repeatable, and he wasn't afraid to let it fly from deep. When defenses backed off, he stepped out and knocked down long range shots that gave his team a huge boost. It was hard not to notice his intensity and how it was contagious and helped set the tone for his team throughout tournament play. Curtis was simply one of those players who made every possession feel exciting and competitive     Tabor was relentless every time he put the ball on the floor for Colorado Magic. He constantly attacked the paint, putting pressure on defenders with his aggressive downhill style. He showed great vision by making the right pass when help defenders collapsed, but he was just as capable of finishing through traffic at the rim with strength and touch. His ability to create for himself and his teammates kept the offense moving, and his fearless approach made him a tough matchup all tournament. Tabor's attacking mentality was a major catalyst for Magic's successful weekend     Mathurin was a quality find for Colorado Swoosh and consistently made winning plays throughout the tournament. He showed impressive shooting range, knocking down spot up jumpers with confidence whenever his teammates found him. Defensively he stayed in front of his assignment and made opponents work for every look. One thing that continued to catch the eye was how he mixed in a smooth spin move that helped him create space and finish plays for points. His combination of reliable perimeter shooting, solid defense and super crafty offensive moves made him a valuable contributor and a player who stood out every time he was on the floor     Woods was the definition of an all out competitor for Olympic City Elite, giving 100 percent on every possession. He embraced the team first mentality, making the extra pass and using his vision to create quality opportunities for his teammates. Offensively he was effective from the mid range and showed the ability to attack the basket and finish through contact. His relentless effort, unselfish play and willingness to do whatever his team needed made him a key contributor. Woods' motor never slowed down and his energy was felt from start to finish     Keele really made an impact with Rocky Mountain Rebound thanks to his toughness and competitive mindset. He stayed locked in defensively, battling on every possession and making life difficult for opponents. In the paint he did an excellent job carving out space, using his strength and positioning to establish himself down low. Once he caught the ball he displayed soft touch and the ability to consistently finish around the basket. His physical play, relentless effort and willingness to do the dirty work made him a valuable presence throughout the tournament
