Seeing Keele stand out twice this summer mattered to me. One good game can happen but when the same useful qualities keep appearing in separate watches, you start paying closer attention. Keele doesn’t need the ball constantly to make his impact in the game. He competes defensively, does some of the physical work inside and understands how to carve out space before the catch. Ryan also can finish inside with creative finishes and hits the mid range shot around the basket.  I’m interested in seeing what skill he adds for the next time that we see him. If Keele continues developing offensively without losing the toughness and willingness to do the dirty work, his game could fit a lot of different situations and that’s exactly why he’s on the watch list.

Keele really made an impact with Rocky Mountain Rebound thanks to his toughness and competitive mindset. He stayed locked in defensively, battling on every possession and making life difficult for opponents. In the paint he did an excellent job carving out space, using his strength and positioning to establish himself down low. Once he caught the ball he displayed soft touch and the ability to consistently finish around the basket. His physical play, relentless effort and willingness to do the dirty work made him a valuable presence throughout the tournament

Keele is an energetic defender who thrives on applying pressure and disrupting opposing offenses. He consistently swarms the ball, getting into passing lanes and forcing turnovers with his anticipation and quick reactions. His defensive intensity sets the tone, as he remains active and engaged throughout possessions. Offensively, Keele shows a willingness to attack and establish position inside, where he can finish at the rim. He uses his physicality effectively to create scoring opportunities in close, capitalizing on strong positioning and effort. His ability to contribute on both ends through energy and awareness makes him a valuable asset.
