Here is what you can expect from the IMAC teams. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Conference Commentary</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Top Ten in State: Minnehaha Academy</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Hawks won the state title last season and they bring back just about everything from their line-up, plus they added a solid transfer in [player_tooltip player_id='2140601' first='Donovin' last='Diaz'] from Florida. Usually when a title team has this much talent after winning a title they are the heavy heavy favorite. That said, Minneapolis North has a new team of transfers, Pequot Lakes has just about everything back plus a D1 potential player coming back from injury, and Montevideo having skill and size as well, so it's not a heavy, heavy favorite that Minnehaha repeats. But they are the favorite to do so. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>League Title Contenders</strong>: Blake, Breck, Providence Academy</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>I really don't think Blake, Breck&lt; Providence or anybody has a chance to challenge the Hawks but the Bears, PA and Mustangs should be the top contenders in this league to the Hawks. Blake and Breck have some talent but a lot of it is young, and they likely don't have the depth to be a title team or a team that finds its way to the top ten of AA. Providence Academy returns everything from last season and while it was a 7-22 year they played well down the stretch and beat Blake last year. These could be good teams in the near future. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Compete with Most:</strong> St. Paul Academy</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>SPA could actually challenge Blake and Breck for second in this league. SPA actually has more from their rotation returning than Blake and Breck, but they might not have the ceiling with those players that Breck/Breck do. I think SPA can still be a good team and a top three team in both their league and section. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Rebuilding</strong>: Mounds Park Academy</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>MPA needs some of the up and coming players they have to stop transferring so they can blend together and have a solid team. They get close to that in this league and then they lose a guy or two.
