Omar has the potential to be a lead scoring option at Mounds Park Academy and many of those skills were on full display. He is a very confident player, who thrives in one-on-one scenarios where he can go get a bucket. He has a very smooth shot and was able to create separation on the perimeter for open shots. Said has a deep bag of moves he can go to, along with his tight handle and long 6’3” frame.

Omar turned in a great performance in the one 5v5 matchup I saw. I was impressed with his ability to shoot off the dribble, pulling up and drilling shots over defenders all game. He also had a couple coast-to-coast takes which resulted in tough contested finishes at the other end. Said has a long 6’3” frame and could be a potential volume scorer at Mounds Park Academy.
