Hayes Have What it Takes?

Brown is the most underrated prospect entire the state, he's got so much upside as a two way play. He's highly efficient at what he does, he's adds to his bag every year, he's good in transition and has plenty of untapped potential. Love the building blocks, production, and passion he has for the game. Great kid and teammate as well.      Barry has the potential to take home the Player of the Year trophy and help bring the Cardinals a championship. There's a world where he leads the NY Division in scoring and rebounds. He's got tremendous touch around the basket, he's improved his body, he's an elite passer plus he's terrific at off the catch threes. Still unsigned somehow.      The Sophomore surprised us last year with his athleticism, vertical and on ball defense. This summer he continued that positive momentum, he looks more under control, making better decisions and has been valuing the ball. His ability to play minutes at both guard spots, take charges, bring energy and come up clutch impress us the most. Cardinals need him to be steady, on the court, a leader and someone this coaching staff can rely in late game situations good or bad.     Almodovar went from wanting just to be a starter as a youngster to quickly understanding he could be the best pure point guard in the entire CHSAA. He got better by the week last year, he has great chemistry with the coaching staff, doesn't force anything and always puts a premium on winning. The ability to deflects passes, annoy ball handlers, create quick advantages in transition and get all his guys looks is huge for Hayes. Could be his best year yet.     Samb got valuable experience last season in the rotation, he brought energy, rebound and guy who could help protect the paint. He's tough, aggressive, can score in a variety of ways could be a break out candidate this upcoming. This Swiss Army knife should be a great asset for Head Coach Joe Lods, he should play a significant role in the front court and should see his recruitment improve.     The Eagle Harlem transfer comes to the Cardinals and has already started turning heads on the program. Reede can really get going from beyond the arc, he's extremely confident, can handle the ball and has great vision. He can pass with either hand, makes the right play, attacks the paint, can finish around the rim and just adds another outstanding guard to this rotation. His impact on winning should have him on the floor plenty for Hayes who will look to use their new addition as much as possible.     The 2030 CHSAA incoming class has been getting a lot of buzz as the season approaches. One of those prospects who's expected to be an instant hit in our opinion is Mr. Green. He's under control, has serious shake, a ridiculous face up game and he's a relentless finisher around the hoop. Green makes shot, gets by his defender consistently, he's lightning quick and should be a head ache for opposing defenses.
