AndOne Minnesota Metro Top 32 Camp Front-Court 2027

<p>Monday Night at Midwest Basketball Training (MBT) in Blaine AOF hosted a Top 32 camp. In July Thelen had back-to-back high scoring games on the 3SSB Circuit in the final session proving he can score and make baskets inside. At the Top 32 showcase Thelen looked to be moving better than even last winter and offensively Thelen has come a long way since his sophomore year at STMA, especially stepping out on the perimeter and shooting from beyond the 3-point arc. Thelen looks better as a screen roller and his finishing is getting better with added strength. Thelen is a legit 7-footer, there's no adding inches to boost his prospect profile like so many, and Thelen has always shown good instincts defensively taking up space and making possessions tough on opponents.</p>   <p>Committed: Wisconsin</p>     <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1819128' first='Bryce' last='Gaustad'] is a six-foot-nine-inch 2027 forward/center from Anoka and played with [program_tooltip program_id='2075310' first='Northstar' last='Titans'] Stone. Gaustad ended the summer with a slew of D2 offers and had his pick of nearly any school and then North Dakota came in late July and Gaustad committed. Gaustad showed week after week tournament after tournament to be a high volume and efficient scorer and rebounder as the center of an offense on the Prep Hoops Circuit while also doing well to defend the rim against attackers. Gaustad's face-up game from the elbow where he can shoot it well from beyond the arc or slightly inside the 3-point line, put the ball down and drive a bit, and pass to cutters or open shooters.</p>   <p>Committed: North Dakota</p>     <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2126466' first='Kobby' last='Sambrew'] is a six-foot-six-inch 2027 forward from Prior Lake that has good length to go with his physical frame and he had offers from Minnesota State Mankato, Minnesota Duluth, and the Sioux Falls. Sambrew showed ability to get put backs and put the ball on the floor as a driver in the mid-post all summer for [program_tooltip program_id='2075672' first='Minnesota' last='Fury'] Goring. Sambrew showed to be a consistent 3-point shooter making 36% of his 3-point shots as well.</p>   <p>Committed: Minnesota-Duluth</p>     <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2126447' first='Briggs' last='Sheridan'] is a six-foot-nine-inch 2027 forward/center from Farmington and played [program_tooltip program_id='2075431' first='D1' last='Minnesota'] 3SSB who is committed to Minnesota State Mankato. Sheridan can stretch the floor with perimeter shooting as he has a smooth shooting stroke. Sheridan's offer a bit more quickness for most centers enabling him opportunity to drive to the hoop.</p>   <p>Committed: Minnesota State Mankato</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='2574749' first='Gideon' last='Horne'] is a six-foot-three-inch 2027 wing with guard skills from Richfield and played with [program_tooltip program_id='2075496' first='Grassroots' last='Sizzle'] MHC. Horne's a great leaper, especially off two-feet and finishes strong above the rim. Horne brings great energy on the offensive glass and with his lateral quickness Horne really can get after opponents on the perimeter and in the full-court.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='2412724' first='Dre' last='Collins'] is a six-foot-four-inch 2027 wing from Richfield that is a great leaper and good athlete in the transition. Collins utilizes his football field skills as wide receiver on the basketball court in transition and has strong finishing skills. Collins offers good enough ball handling skills on the perimeter to be an additional ball handler and offers good energy on defense.</p>
