At 6'6 he has impressive vision, and is skilled enough to distribute out of the block, from the wing, or in transition. Luke was pulling in rebounds in bulk, and was then skilled enough to put the ball on the floor and run the break on his own. On one occasion he took in a defensive rebound, picked his head up, and launched a full-court pass to a teammate sprinting the floor for a lay-up. His vision and unselfishness opened up so many open looks for his teammates throughout the game. Luke was likely in triple-double territory in a win over Big3 Basketball.

This [program_tooltip program_id='2075741' first='ND' last='Phenom'] team has a number of big wings/forwards that can stretch the floor with their shooting touch. Owen had that range on full display on Sunday in a matchup with [program_tooltip program_id='2075310' first='Northstar' last='Titans']. He's a mismatch nightmare at the three, as most teams just don't have a wing with the type of length needed to contest Owen's shot. At 6'6 he has impressive coordination to curl off screens and quickly elevate into his jumper, with the touch to hit at a high rate from three or mid-range. Such a fluid release on his shot that rarely seems to miss when the defense loses track of him. He helped lead [program_tooltip program_id='2075741' first='ND' last='Phenom'] to a big win in the game I watched.

It's easy to see why Asher's stock has skyrocketed over the last few months. The 6'7 forward was unstoppable in the pick & roll against [program_tooltip program_id='2444909' first='Heiser' last='Skills Academy'], leading his team to a hard fought win. Asher sets hard screens to free up his guards, and has good hands to catch in a crowd before powering his way up to finish. Asher has a lean frame, and doesn't shy away from contact around the basket. His strength and body control helps him convert on some difficult looks through contact, and he showed the explosiveness to quickly get off the floor for a dunk when the help-side defender was late stepping in. So productive every time I watch him play.

Galen has been one of the breakout players in the state's 2028 class this spring/summer. Going a bit overshadowed in a loaded DeLaSalle backcourt, Galen has had his skillset on display with MN Fury these past few months. Yesterday he helped lead his team to a win over Midwest Mayhem, taking over down the stretch. His change of speed on the ball helped him get into the lane just about anytime he wanted to, where he was able to finish with either hand. He never looked sped up and always stayed under control, able to stop on a dime and kick it out if a driving lane closed down.

Elliot had an impressive showing against [program_tooltip program_id='2075672' first='Minnesota' last='Fury'] Goring on Sunday morning. He was in attack mode in a way I hadn't seen from him before, and the opposing defense simply didn't have anyone who could stick with him in isolation. Elliot was weaving his way through the lane consistently to finish inside, but sag off and he could simply pull-up for a mid-range jumper. His Heat team was shorthanded in this game, and Elliot was battling for 32 minutes to keep his team in it against one of the top 17u teams in the state. Really gritty two-way performance from the 2027 guard.

Spring Lake Park graduated a handful of key players from last season's team, and Max looks like someone looking to compete for a spot in the rotation as a senior. At 6'4 he has size and mobility out on the wing, combined with the shooting touch that makes him a threat anywhere beyond the arc. Max was on the receiving end of a handful of [player_tooltip player_id='2253894' first='Luke' last='Miller']'s assists, connecting from three at a high percentage throughout the game I watched. He played a key role in Select's win over Big3 Basketball.
