When Myszkowski was a sophomore I got a happen chance to see him as the lead guard on a somewhat talented Mayo team. Myszkowski showed lead guard ability and composure beyond his age at the time. Myskowski works well in ball screen actions as a ball handler to work his way to the hoop, pass to open teammates when defenders try to help and as a perimeter shooter.

Elliot had an impressive showing against Minnesota Fury Goring on Sunday morning. He was in attack mode in a way I hadn’t seen from him before, and the opposing defense simply didn’t have anyone who could stick with him in isolation. Elliot was weaving his way through the lane consistently to finish inside, but sag off and he could simply pull-up for a mid-range jumper. His Heat team was shorthanded in this game, and Elliot was battling for 32 minutes to keep his team in it against one of the top 17u teams in the state. Really gritty two-way performance from the 2027 guard.

Elliot is one of the top guards in attendance this weekend in Sioux Falls. He showed that in a Saturday win over Starks Elite where he was getting to the rim to finish, dropping dimes to teammates in the open floor, and using his quickness to come up with steals defensively. On the ball he plays with change of speed that makes it tough for defenders to stay in front of him, and he excels at coming off of screens and getting into the lane to make plays. Elliot is fresh off of a breakout season at Rochester Mayo, and is continuing that strong run of play this spring with Minnesota Heat .
