Players that we saw this weekend that we think are going to make a big impact this coming winter season.

The Stewartville Class of 2028 talent has been talked about with depth and we've seen them play with the Heat Tigers 17u team. One of those players that has been playing at a high level is [player_tooltip player_id='2395422' first='Luke' last='Morlock'].

The scoring touch of Morlock falls into a category as rare, and could hit the area of special if it keeps progressing like this. Luke knocked out four threes against Select Jeff but he also went to the rim and scored with a sneaky touch going to the rim. Luke's feel for when to release a shot in small windows is different and he's a competitor. Luke led his team to a win with a 26 point game making 10 of 15 shots plus nine boards and three assists.

You don't want to put huge expectations on a player that has only played some varsity so far, but Luke has the potential to make a nice impact this winter.

Finn was playing with [program_tooltip program_id='2075685' first='Minnesota' last='Select'] Jeff this weekend and he made a really strong impression using his physical strength but also his versatile skill to have a 19 point, seven rebound game against the Heat Tigers.

Dyvik scored 11-12 points a game last year and at times he was the go to player for Orono when Hansen was injured. Finn's strength around the basket allows balanced finishes through the defense but this is a player that can face up and knock down a shot too. Dyvik is a guy that I really think D3 and NAIA eyes should be on more and more as they get a chance to see him.

When you see Galen compete for the Fury you can't help but picture what his role is going to be the DeLaSalle Islanders, because Kamp is such a good fit for his team as a junior. There aren't many rotational spots open (only two guys aren't returning) but you have to think a guy that has the smarts, the patience, and the quick physical step to finish like Galen does should have the strong potential for a spot.

Galen has been an All State 16u player this year and one of the top PPG guys in 16u if there was a magical way to produce such a thing. Facing the Trailblazers out of Milwaukee, Kamp scored 13 points on six of nine shots plus he locked his guy down, he grabbed seven boards and dished out four assists.

Kamp is tough, smart, consistent, and a great fit for the Islanders.

The 16u talent moved up to play for the [program_tooltip program_id='2075685' first='Minnesota' last='Select'] and his explosive athletic ability was the perfect fit playing with [player_tooltip player_id='1956268' first='Shay' last='Jackson']. Moussa stepped in and didn't force his offense with poor shots, he moved the ball and when it came back he struck with the right playmaking decisions.

Moussa has the potential to be one of the best ball pressure defenders and one of the best attacking playmakers in his class. It all starts with the speed. Moussa's lateral movement can swallow up an opposing player when he wants to and the transition push or attack of a lane in the defense is as quick as the come meaning Moussa is a scrambling help defender's nightmare.

Fury Hibbs was led this weekend (and other weekends) by this Lakeville South guard that was a key JV guy last season and should step into a key varsity spot this year if ready.

Is he ready? Oliver will have to prove that but he's played exceptionally well this 16u season including this past weekend. The lefty knocked out a few threes each game but he scored over 20 points a game using that crafty basket attack that led to traffic finishes time and time again. A guy on our radar for the winter in the South Suburban.

We continue to talk about CP Rebels..... and the 6'7 [player_tooltip player_id='2823872' first='Dalton' last='Iverson'] is the latest name that we need to bring to these pages. Iverson scored five points a game a season ago and then he moved to the [program_tooltip program_id='2075310' first='Northstar' last='Titans'] Johnson team and had a fantastic 17u season.

Iverson seemed to bring back the artistry of the low post bag of tricks. We saw the up and under, we saw ball fakes into step throughs, we looked at great spins off the shoulder turn, and there were fakes one way to go finish the other. When we looked at post game box score sheets it was a constant to see five or six "twos" after the name of [player_tooltip player_id='2823872' first='Dalton' last='Iverson'] and that also included some really good one dribble finishes out of the high post. Throw in the finishes with either hand and you have a developing big!

Players that we saw this weekend that we think are going to make a big impact this coming winter season.
