The morning session at UIC Team Camp featured a strong mix of established names and emerging prospects who elevated their stock with productive performances on both ends of the floor.

[player_tooltip player_id='2125687' first='Travis' last='Brown'] | 2027 | West Aurora

Brown put on a show throughout the morning session. He consistently created offense out of the pick-and-roll, making impressive reads while mixing in acrobatic finishes at the rim. Brown does an excellent job of pushing the tempo, facilitating for teammates, and knowing when to pick his own scoring opportunities. His ability to control the pace makes him one of the more dynamic guards in attendance.

[player_tooltip player_id='1874813' first='Jayden' last='Taylor'] | 2027 | Perspectives Leadership

Taylor showcased his value as a two-way guard. The strong-bodied backcourt player was effective offensively, excelling in drive-and-kick situations while also converting several finishes at the basket. Defensively, he stood out by applying pressure on the ball, deflecting passes, and creating disruption throughout the game. Taylor's activity level on both ends was impressive.

Kenon Dismukes | 2029 | Perspectives Leadership

Dismukes continues to intrigue with his long-term upside. The 6-foot-6 post player embraces the dirty work and consistently impacts the game despite coming off the bench. He establishes deep post position, carves out space effectively, and finishes around the basket. Dismukes also battled hard on the glass and defended the paint with physicality.

[player_tooltip player_id='3658612' first='Daniel' last='Sago'] | 2027 | Montini

The 6-foot-5 forward displayed versatility operating as a point forward. Sago used his length and physicality to score around defenders while earning multiple trips to the free-throw line. He showed comfort initiating offense and possesses the tools to be effective both on the perimeter and with his back to the basket.

[player_tooltip player_id='2441084' first='Noah' last='Hester'] | 2028 | Taft

Hester is a powerful interior presence with an intriguing guard skill set. He overpowers opponents with his physicality while also handling the ball comfortably in transition. Hester attacks the basket with force, can step out and knock down perimeter shots, and rebounds at a high level. His ability to secure a rebound and push the ball himself makes him unique for his size. Defensively, he anchors the paint and serves as a reliable rim protector.

[player_tooltip player_id='2125616' first='Donavyn' last='Simmons'] | 2027 | Joliet Catholic

Simmons wasted no time making an impact. He opened with a strong finish through contact, followed it with a steal and a two-handed dunk, then immediately created an open corner three with a drive-and-kick assist. Simmons is an aggressive downhill playmaker who combines scoring instincts with strong passing ability. His anticipation in passing lanes and overall decision-making also translate defensively. He's one of the more underrated players in Illinois.

[player_tooltip player_id='2436293' first='Cole' last='Christian'] | 2028 | Lane Tech

The 6-foot-7 forward was active around the basket all morning. Christian consistently tracked down rebounds and made his presence felt in the paint. He can score with either hand, moves well without needing excessive dribbles, and is comfortable operating both with his back to the basket and facing up. He projects as a major force in the paint over the next two seasons at Lane Tech.

[player_tooltip player_id='2125668' first='Nedas' last='Venckus'] & [player_tooltip player_id='2125671' first='Nojus' last='Venckus'] | 2027 | Lockport

The Venckus twins continue to raise their stock. Nedas brings athleticism and energy, highlighted by a strong two-handed finish after cutting through the lane. Nojus provides the skill and shot-making ability, displaying a smooth jumper and effectiveness both as a slasher and perimeter scorer. Their growth has significantly changed their projections, as both are proving themselves to be legitimate Division I prospects.

[player_tooltip player_id='3669947' first='Jordan' last='Weeks'] | 2027 | West Aurora

The 6-foot-8 post player imposed his will inside. Weeks showcased polished footwork with right and left-handed drop steps while also knocking down a pair of perimeter shots earlier in the day. He moves well for his size, rebounds at a high level, and continues to show a strong work ethic. Expect his recruitment to continue gaining traction throughout the summer.
