Expert Analysis
Scott Burgess | Prep Hoops Scout
Brown is one of the fastest players with the ball in his hands end to end in the state. The junior is so fun to watch as he pushes off steals or the defensive glass weaving through defenders right past them for acrobatic layups or dunks. Did it quite a few times in this game. Converts so well around the cup. Makes sound decisions as a passer. Even got up to block a big man’s shot on the other end. He had 19 points.

Brown was the highest ranked junior in the gym and he played with a lot of confidence after winning MVP of the sophomore camp in the same gym the year prior. The 6’1” wiry guard is ultra smooth with the rock in his hands. He can get anywhere he wants with his handle consistently living in the paint for acrobatic layups. More than just a driver he is a plus shooter from both two and three that is very adept at shooting pulling up off the catch. He has the swagger that you like to see in star guards!
