Taylor is strong tough point that stays low to the ground and can burst in transition. Operates with a positive affect going off the bounce. Uses hesitations, swing throughs, or jabs to get by defender then collapse defense for drop off passes. Scored it from 3 levels during Saturday afternoon game as well. A couple spot up 3’s, a smooth mid-range fade-a-way pullup and can get to cup. A facilitating threat with speedy pace and scoring ability.

Possesses a good knack and feel for the game. Got really crafty and nifty with the ball in game 4 of the weekend. A couple no look passes threading the needle of zone defense and found gaps to make poised reads while penetrating. Looks to get the ball ahead of the defense on the outlet or after D boarding. Knocked down multiple 3’s showing shooting abilities. Made a tough finish in transition for an And1. Finished tied with team high 20. Works well off of teammates skill level and makes others around him better. Solid combo guard who will continue to turn heads over next two years.

Taylor was playing up a year, but still turned in one of the most impressive individual performances of the weekend putting up 45 points in a game at the Queen City Class. The 5’10” dynamic guard can flat out score the basketball. He was really fun to watch for Team Taylor Elite 17u.

This 5’10” guard from Fenger High School was consistently scoring throughout Team Taylor Elite 17u’s matchup with Cave Gym Elite 17u on Saturday afternoon. Then, after the contest was over, we learned that Taylor had been playing up an age group. That made his performance, and general presence as the best player on the floor, even more impressive. He can flat out score the basketball.
