Prep Hoops Ranking: 3

The steady progress Knueppel has made in his game throughout his high school days has been nothing short of outstanding. In every aspect of the game, Knueppel has worked hard to become one of the better high school players in America. His biggest assets are his size, perimeter shooting and ability to block shots near the rim. But he's also a good passer and an improved on-ball defender. Ranked No. 33 nationally in the Prep Hoops Player Rankings, Knueppel has won three state championships at Wisconsin Lutheran and will look to make it four in a row in 2026-27. Duke, Michigan and Purdue are among the schools pursuing Knueppel the hardest at this point.

Prep Hoops Ranking: 4

Kohnen committed to Iowa State last weekend, joining [player_tooltip player_id='1847792' first='Donovan' last='Davis'] of Freedom in the Cyclones' 2027 recruiting class. An extremely versatile player who can play near the basket or out on the perimeter, Kohnen's best trait might very well be his court vision. He just has a sense of finding open teammates and delivers the ball on time and on target. A three-year varsity performer at Slinger, Kohnen led the Owls to a runner-up finish in last year's WIAA Division 2 State Tournament. He can score at all three levels and easily finishes above the rim. Kohnen is ranked No. 52 nationally by Prep Hoops.

Prep Hoops Ranking: 6

An athletic wing who can soar to the basket and finish with a big dunk or ease into open spots on the perimeter and drop three-point bombs, McDuffie has a solid junior season for Nicolet and then played well for the ultra-talented [program_tooltip program_id='2391400' first='Team' last='Herro'] squad in April and May. His best basketball appears to be ahead of him as he continues to grow and mature physically. But there is no denying his ability to use his length and lateral quickness to disrupt things on defense and then use his versatility to score on offense. McDuffie has a long list of suiters at the NCAA Division I level. Those most involved at this point include Central Florida, DePaul, Louisville, Minnesota, Missouri, Oklahoma, Santa Clara, TCU and UCLA.

Prep Hoops Ranking: 8

No player elevated his stock more with college recruiters this spring than Ploeckelman, who went from zero NCAA Division I scholarship offers in March to eight by the end of May. His verticality, versatility and vibrant presence on the court shone all spring for ElevateUAA. Ploeckelman can block shots, finish above the rim for big dunks, make shots facing the basket and guard different positions. His list of offers includes Air Force, Boston University, Florida Gulf Coast, Holy Cross, Iona, LeMoyne, Milwaukee and UNC Wilmington.

Prep Hoops Ranking: 17

Krueger has the desired blend of skill, size and smarts each time he competes. He is a cerebral player who picks his spots to impact a game and once he does, it becomes deadly for the opponent. Krueger is an outstanding shooter from beyond the three-point arc, one of the best in the state as he made 89 of 190 tries last winter for a robust 47 percent. The Player of the Year in the Fox River Classic Conference averaged 17.2 points and 5.0 rebounds for the strong De Pere program and played well for [program_tooltip program_id='2512324' first='Wisconsin' last='Legends'] in the spring. He is switching over to ElevateUAA for July and currently owns NCAA Division II scholarship offers from Lake Superior State, Michigan Tech, Northern Michigan and Winona State.

Prep Hoops Ranking: 21

Luchetti continues to work his way back from an injury that kept him out of the entire 2025-26 high school season. He played in the spring on the club circuit for the [program_tooltip program_id='2076033' first='Wisconsin' last='Playmakers'] P32 squad and has picked up steam with his play thus far this June with Monona Grove. A bouncy wing who can get to the basket and finish above the rim or spot up and drill three-point jump shots, Luchetti owns some NCAA Division II offers -- Lake Superior State and Northern Michigan -- and is hoping to get some looks from Division I programs in July.
