[program_tooltip program_id='2075674' first='Minnesota' last='Heat'] GVR will play in 6 Prep Hoop Circuit events, four in Minnesota starting with Battle at the Lakes May 8-10th. May 15-17 they will play in Sioux Falls, South Dakota for Stomping Grounds, and May 22-24th they'll be in the Upper Midwest Finals in Minneapolis. The next weekend Heat GVR will play in the NHR State Tournament May 29-31st and in July on the 10-12th they'll be in the 2K26 in Minneapolis. Heat GVR will finish up their year in Indiana for the National Open Championship July 17-19th.

View more about Heat GVR here

[player_tooltip player_id='2575638' first='Izayah' last='Cook'] - Cook is a six-foot-four-inch 2027 wing who transferred to Wayzata for his junior year. Cook did not see the Varsity floor often for the [program_tooltip program_id='2075965' first='Trojans' last=''] on a deep team loaded with D1, and D2 committed talent. As a sophomore at Sauk Rapids Cook scored 16 points per game while shooting 35.4% from beyond the arc. Cook has the ability off the dribble to score on the perimeter as a driver or shooter and can score points in bunches. Cook has solid size to operate on the wing.

youtube.com/shorts/0FLyHkc8Fkc?source_ve_path=MjM4NTE&embeds_referring_euri=https%3A%2F%2Fprephoops.com%2F

[player_tooltip player_id='2133222' first='Elliot' last='Myszkowski'] - Myszkowski is a six-foot point guard from Rochester Mayo that saw a good jump in productivity as a junior. Myszkowski averaged 15.4 points per game while shooting a high 43% from beyond the arc. When I saw Myszkowski as a sophomore it was very apparent why he was getting prime minutes on the Spartan team with his poise and leadership qualities. He's a good ball handler, steady guard able to get his team moving into sets and styles his team is supposed to be doing.

https://twitter.com/elliot_mysz/status/2035777589294284818

[player_tooltip player_id='2140552' first='Andrew' last='Aitkin'] - Aitkin is a six-foot-four-inch guard from Mounds View that was named All-Conference performer this past season. Aitkin is Mounds View's primary scorer operating mostly off the ball scoring 16.4 points per game. Aitkin has a good enough handle to get into spaces and is not only reliant on shooting from the perimeter.

<iframe src='https://www.hudl.com/embed/video/3/25128978/69790983487b96e4c9599736' width='640' height='360' frameborder='0' allowfullscreen></iframe>

[player_tooltip player_id='2140688' first='Rylan' last='Happel'] - Happel is a six-foot guard from Mounds View that was an all-conference performer in 2025-26. Happel scored 13 points per game while averaging 4 assists at the primary ball handler and creator. Happel defends the point of attack and collects a good amount of steals with poke aways and pick-ups. He can run your team the transitional way and also score a bit off the dribble while shooting a good percentage from the perimeter.

https://twitter.com/RylanHappel/status/2032226784645632103

[player_tooltip player_id='2136339' first='Adryan' last='Miller'] - Miller is a six-foot-seven-inch wing from Edina that took the 2025-26 high school season off for personal reasons but trained all winter and is looking bigger and stronger. Miller played with NS Titans Stone and was a big part of their top 10 rankings all season long. Miller looks for a strong spring and summer with [program_tooltip program_id='2075674' first='Minnesota' last='Heat'] GVR to showcase his skillset.

[player_tooltip player_id='2140604' first='Eddie' last='Walker'] - Walker is a six-foot-five-inch Hopkins wing that runs in transition, finishes strong at the rim, can step out on occasion on the perimeter and has good effort and energy on the offensive glass.

Owen Albrecht - Albrecht is a six-foot-eight-inch forward from Rogers that plays the interior as a traditional big man. Albrecht has the ability to block shots with his size and reach, and back to the basket scoring. Albrecht is active on the boards, offensive and defensive, and gives good effort getting up and down the floor.

https://twitter.com/OwenAhlbrecht42/status/2026379666727051616

[player_tooltip player_id='2140686' first='Quinn' last='Bjerketvedt'] - Bjerketvedt is a six-foot-two-inch Hopkins guard that the ball doesn't stick when he has it and can shoot from the perimeter. Bjerketvedt, who is stuck behind a lot of talent at Hopkins, looks to make an impression on the circuit this spring and summer.

[player_tooltip player_id='2382199' first='Jake' last='Lis'] - Lis is a six-foot-one-inch Minnetonka guard that averaged 9.6 points per game for the Skippers. Lis defends the court 94 feet and has instincts for deflections and jumping lanes for steals. Lis can play without the ball as well as with the ball, and does well spreading the floor and shooting from the perimeter.

Minnesota Heat GVR will play in 6 Prep Hoop Circuit events, four in Minnesota starting with Battle at the Lakes May 8-10th.
