The 2028 class has a ton of early hype and a lot of offers already. As they move to being upperclassmen, the rankings are starting to shuffle and there are some players who have come from out of nowhere to climb near the top. Here's a look at the updated 2028 rankings as we move towards their Junior seasons.

Josh retains the top spot in the class and has an important next 12 months ahead of him in his development and recruiting. Lindsay is one of the most explosive players in the state and has plenty of highlights from this past season. He probably needs to move to point guard full time at St. X next year and get more comfortable as a facilitator and creator but Josh has a super high ceiling.

Jordan stays at number two in this update and is knocking on the door of the top spot. Mitchell was hindered with injury at Male this season but the Bulldogs were the top team in the state prior to injuries to Jordan and fellow Sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='2360949' first='Trey' last='Hillerich']. Looking ahead, Mitchell has the shot making ability to play off the ball, if needed. He's a good creator and scorer.

Cook moves back up into the top 3 in the class and still has the most long term potential of anyone in the state, in my opinion. Boogie had a strange year after transferring to Ballard and then back to CAL but ended up with a really solid Sophomore campaign and is starting to get some momentum back in his recruitment.

A crucial part of the Tigers' run to the State Championship game, Jordan is a ridiculous athlete who plays above the rim and is an excellent shot blocker too. Jackson needs to continue develop his all around skill set to reach his ceiling but he has the physical tools to be an impact player in college. If he bulks up his wiry frame and improves his ball handling and shooting, Jackson could be a top 100 talent.

One of the players who just gets things done, Andrew is a versatile forward who can play around the bucket or stretch out past the three point line. Terry made headlines for transferring from Montgomery County to GRC a couple of weeks ago. He should feast at GRC with single coverage and be a matchup nightmare for the opposition.
