As they move to being upperclassmen, the rankings are starting to shuffle and there are some players who have come from out of nowhere to climb near the top. Here's a look at some new names in the updated 2028 rankings as we move towards their Junior seasons.

A big guard who is a really good passer and facilitator, Domidion has helped get Danville Christian to Rupp Arena the last two seasons and will have the keys to the DCA offense for another two years. In order to reach his ceiling, Domidion will have to shoot the three ball better but he has time to improve that aspect. I think Graham will be a very solid scholarship level prospect in due time.

Freeman has a high ceiling thanks to his length and athleticism. Micah is an explosive dunker who has had some of the best dunks in Louisville over the past year. The next step in his evolution is to commit to becoming a better jump shooter. If he can become a better shooter and solid ball handler, Freeman projects very well to the next level because he has the intangibles you cannot teach.

North Laurel is going to have to replace a lot next season and Allen should move from a secondary option to a primary one. Kaiden is a primary ballhandler and creator who can also knock down perimeter shots when needed. In a 13th region that is full of 2028 talent, look for Allen to establish himself as a top Junior, starting this summer.

Knox is a big bodied forward who caught the eye of our Mike Roth since the AAU season started. More of a back to the basket player on the offensive end, Vogel is an active rebounder on defense. His development over the next year or so will be crucial but look for Knox to start establishing himself amongst the top big men in the 6th region.
