Reliable shooters will always standout amongst the crowd and there were more than a few at the Kentucky Expo Center this past weekend. Here are a few that I was able to see:

Senior prospects wouldn't typically be a topic of discussion on Prep Hoops at this time of the year, but Adrian's extenuating circumstances have thrust him back onto my radar. Having recently decommitted from Kentucky State University do to staffing changes, Adrian has suddenly become one of Kentucky's top available 2026 prospects. As his game continues to evolve, rest assured that Adrian's clip from deep is still certified. Running with [program_tooltip program_id='2478682' first='Kentucky' last='Ambition'] MHC as an unsigned senior, he provides instant offense as a constant threat from deep who's also capable of putting the ball on the floor. He had a really solid showing at the Grassroots Showcase and notably knocked down seven 3PT field goals in Ambition's Saturday afternoon matchup.

Coached by former Xavier University standout Quentin Goodin, Hustle Elite's 2030's squad had an impressive showing at the Grassroots Showcase and Moher was a big reason why. He can get hot from deep in an instant and has the confidence to match his volume of shots. The lefty wing also has good positional size for his age. He put up a game-high 23PTS, including five made 3PT field goals, in his squad's Saturday afternoon matchup. A young prospect with a lot of potential.

Ian was often the smallest kid on either side of the court in Hustle Elite's Grassroots Showcase matchups, but he didn't play like it. Operating as the lead guard, his core responsibilities revolved around running the offense and distributing the basketball – both of which he did very well. Ian's ability to score the ball, however, stood out down the stretch. Like his teammate, Ian is also a southpaw shooter who connected on five 3PT field goals in his team's Saturday afternoon matchup. It's also worth noting that he dropped 30PTS in the semifinals of the Gold bracket to propel his team to a championship berth.

Amir is a bigger guard with a well-rounded skillset but his ability to knock down shots from long distance stood out in Akron Torch's final Saturday matchup. His first 3PT field goal of the game came from way downtown but Amir didn't seem phased by the level of difficulty. He went on to connect on several other shot attempts from deep that barely grazed the rim. It's also worth noting that Amir's backcourt steal and subsequent layup in crunch time made it a one possession game with just 90 seconds remaining in regulation. The young prospect showed a lot of heart and could be a high upside kid to keep an eye on.
