I spent the majority of my Sunday at the Cintas Center on the campus of Xavier University for three district finals battles, I unfortunately had to leave for another pair of games before the Cincinnati Taft Vs Dayton Northridge game so no standouts from that game will be included in this article. With that being said, here were my standouts from Sunday's action at Xavier University.

The first time I caught Centerville this year Keely was out with an injury, his presence was felt early with a baseline drive and monster slam dunk for the Elks first two points of the game. Keely had a tough turnaround jumper later in the first quarter and can play out of the triple threat well. With Keely back at 100% Centerville will be a tough out in the playoffs despite not starting a senior.

An ultimate glue guy, Rohrer makes a bunch of plays that don't show up in the stat sheet. I've been so impressed with Rohrer's ability to transfer from a small town program where he was a leading scorer to becoming a complimentary scorer who plays with ultimate toughness and grit. Defensively Rohrer blocked a 3-point attempt and plays physical on ball defense. If you think Centerville is good this year, they should return their whole starting lineup next season.

One of the most productive freshman in Ohio, Hill scored over half of the Aviators points on Sunday afternoon. With a polished game, Hill makes smart drives and has the strength to play through contact. Struggling from the outside in this one, Hill made two or more 3-pointers in 16 of his last 19 games coming into Sunday's contest. Finishing second in the GMC in scoring as just a freshman, the future is very bright for Hill.

A dominant performance by the Cowboys who ran a good Urbana team out the gym. Gray led the way with 17 points as he was efficient as a slasher playing off two feet and staying on balance on drives. A quick guard who wants to get downhill, Gray provides a lot of rim pressure for a player his size. Gray also had a steal using his quick hands that led to a breakaway layup for one of his teammates. The Cowboys are state title good but each game will get tougher than the last in this run.

One of the top shooters in southwest Ohio's 2028 class, Dixon hit four 3-pointers for the Hillclimbers and was forcing Wyoming to face guard him off the ball. Dixon hit two from behind the college line on Sunday and played with confidence against one of the top defensive teams in the state. With a majority of their rotation returning next season, I'd be surprised if Urbana doesn't win a district title next season.

A monster second half push by Alter helps them continue their season as they quickly erased a 12 point halftime deficit and took a seven point lead going into the fourth quarter that they would hold on to. Bakos came out of the halftime break on fire with multiple leakout layups off steals when the Alter zone defense started to bother the CHCA guards. Bakos hit a transition 3-pointer to give Alter the lead and their fans erupted. This victory by the Knights sets up a winner take all rubber match in the regional semis between Wyoming and Alter, two teams that have met in the regional finals the last two seasons with each side winning once.

Caimano has had a monster senior season for a CHCA squad that ran through their league despite star [player_tooltip player_id='2469918' first='Griffin' last='Ridner Richard']. The only regular season game I saw of CHCA Caimano was 1/16 from 3-point range, on Sunday he made five 3's in the first half alone. I was extremely impressed with the ball movement CHCA played with to set Caimano up with good looks at the rim. While the Eagles ran out of gas in the second half, it was a great effort by their team.
