One of the top scorers in all of Ohio this season, Gunther has been one of the best offensive players in the state this season. So incredibly skilled on the ball, Gunther is tough to trap with two players due to his poise and ability to keep a live dribble in traffic. Excited to see Gunther at the 17 U level on the 3SSB circuit, a great opportunity to see how his frame holds up against Division I level athletes up and down the roster. Gunther also broke the all time scoring record at Ursuline on Tuesday night in a victory over Warren Howland, Gunther is at 1,413 points and counting as he has a playoff run and a senior season to add to that tally, an incredible achievement.

One of the highest upside players in the Toledo area, Chenault has taken a major leap this season and has continued to gain confidence at the offensive end of the court. The flashes Chenault shows as an open court athlete and ability to play with the ball in his hands is so intriguing. Hoping to see Chenault turn these flashes into consistent production, he has the talent to keep improving. A prospect who is rapidly improving but still has a long way to reach his full potential. Chenault will be a prospect Division I teams will want to get their eyes on during spring and summer live periods.

Recently going over the 1,000 point mark for his career off a nasty step-back 3-pointer, Brinager has taken his offensive game to the next level this season. Leading his team to an unbeaten conference record so far this season, Southern is a major contender in Division VII Region 27 to win the region, their only two losses on the season are to top teams in Division V and Division VI from the east / southeast region. Expect Brinager to be a top target for scholarship programs this summer playing with Midwest Basketball Club on the MHC.

Delphos St John's is rolling right now and while Mr Basketball candidate [player_tooltip player_id='1827696' first='Cameron' last='Elwer'] receives the majority of the shine, and for good reason, Andrew is having a sneaky excellent season himself. A 3-and-D wing guard who makes shots at an elite rate off the catch, Elwer has the potential size to switch onto different positions and his length gives him the ability to be an impact defender down the road. The Blue Jays are the favorite in Division VII this season and after falling short in the regional final last season, I expect them to remain locked in all postseason this time around.

One of the top multi-sport athletes in Ohio's 2027 class, Jackson Jr holds eight offers for football including Ohio, Toledo and Miami (OH) while also holding an offer to Fairmont State for basketball. Massillon Washington has been on a tear this season and look to be a state title contender in Division II. Jackson Jr is a dominant athlete on the hardwood and the lefty forward can space out and knock down an open jumper but is at his best attacking closeouts and getting to the rim in transition. If you want to beat Massillon Washington, you'll have to slow them down.
