This 2027 class is deep with talent and a lot of these guys already hold D1 offers. With their last rides of AAU coming up and their Senior seasons on the horizon, let's take a look at some Junior class superlatives.

Most likely to score 4,000 points:

[player_tooltip player_id='1745583' first='Braxton' last='Keathley'], Martin County - Keathley has already surpassed 3,000 career points and has more games to go this season and an entire Senior season ahead. Given that he averages over 30 points per game, 4,000 is very much in play for Braxton before the end of his high school career.

Best Player Nobody Talks About:

[player_tooltip player_id='2127277' first='Matthew' last='Langhi'], Marshall County - All Matthew does is produce at a high level. He's big and long and comfortable playing the wing. He checks a lot of boxes as a prospect but only has one offer (Indiana State) to this point. With a big AAU season ahead, Langhi could become a big time recruit by the end of the summer.

Highest Prospect Ceiling:

[player_tooltip player_id='2122438' first='Montez' last='Gay'], George Rogers Clark - A national scout that works for another company told me he thinks Montez could be a pro down the line thanks to his 3 and D abilities and long term potential. A natural athlete with a big frame, Gay is capable of ending up at a Power 4 school and should develop from there.

Highest Prospect Floor:

[player_tooltip player_id='2122607' first='Nolan' last='Coffman'], Lyon County - Nolan is a big forward who can play the 3 or 4 but what separates him from most, for me, is that Coffman just plays super hard on both ends of the floor. A good rebounder and a confident scorer at all three levels, Nolan is going to be the best possible player he can be.

Best Two Sport Athlete:

[player_tooltip player_id='2639861' first='Seneca' last='Driver'], Boyle County - There are A TON of good 2 sport athletes in this class but Seneca is now the top rated tight end in America and would have offers in basketball if he chose to take it seriously. Driver averages a double double and plays very high above the rim.

Biggest Sleeper Prospect:

[player_tooltip player_id='2389668' first='Garrison' last='Gilvin'], Trinity - Gilvin does everything at a high level. Garrison is not going to blow you away by scoring 35 points per game but he's going to flirt with a triple double nearly every game. While he's not the most flashy player, Garrison impacts winning in a lot of ways.

Best Shooter:

[player_tooltip player_id='1745595' first='Michael' last='Ray Stinnett'], Fairdale - Stinnett has made nearly 100 threes this season and did it while shooting more than 50% from distance on the season. Michael Ray is comfortable launching from range and has a quick release that makes opponents be there when he catches the ball and try to make him put it on the floor.

110% Award:

[player_tooltip player_id='2046738' first='Omari' last='Jointer'], Woodford County - Omari plays every game like his life depends on it. I've watched Jointer since he was an 8th grader and I don't know that I've ever seen him take a play off. He recently earned his first D1 offer and is likely to see more come his way with how hard he plays.

Best Pure Scorer:

[player_tooltip player_id='1751495' first='Ja'Rye' last='Brown'], WEB DuBois - I've said for years that if you lined up everyone in the state for a game of "king of the hill", I'd put my money on Brown to be the last man standing. An elite driver and finisher, Ja'Rye is both quick and fast and has the ability to get into the paint on even the best of defenders.

Most Likely to Go Viral:

[player_tooltip player_id='2026991' first='Tyce' last='Jarvis'], Montgomery County - Tyce is long and athletic and is always looking for someone to dunk on. Jarvis has the God given athleticism that many in Kentucky cannot match and, at 6'6", he's long enough to finish through traffic. Don't be surprised to see [player_tooltip player_id='2026991' first='Tyce' last='Jarvis'] go viral again this summer for driving the lane and dropping the hammer on an opposing player.
