In a game that went down to the wire, Jayce helped his New Berlin West team come away with a win over Burlington. He showed why he's considered one of the top three point shooters in his class, knocking down five shots from deep in the win. When he wasn't making defenders pay for not keeping a hand up, Jayce was getting to the rim with hard cuts off the ball and finishing on the run in transition. He helped New Berlin West improve to 8-1 on the season.

Elijah is a Swiss army knife type of player for New Berlin West. They don't start with a ton of size, so Elijah is often found battling in the post with bigger forwards, but he also has the agility to be a lockdown perimeter defender. He's a gritty defender on the ball, rebounds at a high level, and has quick hands to come up with turnovers. Elijah excels in the open floor where he can make smart reads with the ball in his hands, acting as a facilitator or finisher. Someone you'll often find stuffing the box score with points, rebounds, and assists.

Emmett had a productive game in the tight loss to New Berlin West. At 6'3 he's a physical presence inside, and was pulling in rebounds in bulk throughout the game. Multiple times throughout the game we saw him use his strong frame to power up for finishes inside, but he also showed the shooting touch that forces defenders to keep a hand up out on the perimeter. He looks to be finding a rhythm with his new team in 2026.

One of the best uncommitted seniors in the state, Sam exploded for a school record 44 points in a win over Carmen Northwest on Saturday. The lefty guard just wasn't missing, hitting shot after shot from three and mid-range. With his explosiveness to elevate off the floor on his jumper, defenders had a difficult time getting a good contest on him, as Sam made the game look like practice. Pitrof added in a pair of two handed dunks in the second half, finishing with 44 points before sitting out the last six minutes of the game.

Jack was on fire from three in a big win over Menomonee Falls on Saturday. The 2027 guard shot 5-8 from beyond the arc, finishing with 25 points in the win. Jack did a great job of constantly moving without the ball, searching of pockets of space out on the perimeter. Playing alongside two talented playmakers, Jack's teammates were constantly finding him in space, and he connected at a high level on those chances. He also added in 6 rebounds and 3 steals in the win.

Mace created a countless number of open looks for his teammates against Menomonee Falls. The sophomore point guard is lightning quick with the ball in his hands, and was consistently getting into dangerous areas on the floor. Mace was able to establish two feet in the paint, force the defense to collapse, and then either kick it out to an open shooter or dump it off to one of his bigs. If the defense didn't react quick enough, Mace showed the body control to finish inside at 5'11. He finished the game with 22 points and 5 assists.

The third Whitefish Bay guard to put in a big performance on Saturday was [player_tooltip player_id='2500873' first='Marcus' last='Webb']. Marcus was a nightmare in transition all game long, as he's so fast getting up the floor on the ball. Threw down a dunk in the first half before showcasing impressive body control to finish through contact on a few other occasions. I was really impressed with his decision making even while moving at full speed downhill, as he always seemed to know whether to finish on his own or dump it off at the last second. Marcus finished with 23 points and 6 assists while turning the ball over only once.
