13U play wrapped Sunday afternoon at the Twin Cities Takedown with a number of tightly contested matchups taking place throughout the day at Shakopee High School. Austin 7th took on [program_tooltip program_id='2896132' first='Start' last='Strong Hoops'] earlier in the day, before Minnesota Falcons and ETS Minnesota did battle later on, with Hoops Habit Elite facing off against ETS Wisconsin later in the afternoon. Here are the five players who were pivotal to their teams success on Sunday afternoon.

With noticeable size and length Thoy made an impact for Austin 7th from the opening tip. The big put his abilities on full display from the outset, getting in the lane and grabbing rebounds to create second chance opportunities for Austin. When defenders close around Thoy he showed a willingness to kick it out, displaying good vision to find the open man. Thoy also drove the lane with authority on many occasions, winning one-on-one for easy buckets. On defense Thoy is a disruptive defender in the paint coming up with key blocks and boards for Austin 7th.

Brackins was a key piece in Start Strong's win over Austin 7th in a closely contested battle on Sunday afternoon. He possesses the ability to not only win down low, grabbing multiple rebounds and easy buckets, he can also run the offense and make plays. Making a number of key plays in transition, whether its scooping up a steal and going the length of the court for a bucket or grabbing a board and pushing the play for a fastbreak look. In a game where every point was necessary, Brackins showed he can create offense in a multitude of ways for [program_tooltip program_id='2896132' first='Start' last='Strong Hoops'].

A versatile forward Phelps showed off a number of ways in which he could make in a imapct on a game. His standout trait was using his ball handling skills to create space hitting a number step back jumpers in the first half of the Falcons win over ETS Minnesota. Phelps utilized his speed to open up looks while also being able to stop and pop mid range jumpers with ease. His bursts off speed also allow him to beat defenders up the court for easy fastbreak layup opportunities.

With a 6'0 frame Helgeson is a notable post player, working his way down low and driving to the rack with ease. His offensive rebounding ability was key for ETS Wisconsin in their afternoon win over Hoop Habits on Sunday afternoon, grabbing second chance looks and putting them back with ease to grab critical points. With a lengthy frame and reliable hands, Helgeson is able to make things happen down low and serve as a critical piece of ETS Wisconsin's offense.

Heit has the size to make an impact down low, grabbing multiple key rebounds on the defensive end for ETS Wisconsin on Sunday afternoon. But his calling card is a clean jump shot that allowed him to knock down shots from beyond the arc with ease, nailing multiple triples in ETS Wisconsin's win over Hoop Habits. Heit is a reliable defender making life hard for opponents, swatting down multiple shots on Sunday afternoon.
