I was able to attend the Rock Spring Classic in Stoughton on Saturday. A great event for aspiring d2/d3 prospects, the gym was full of talented 16u and 17u players on Saturday. Let's break down six players that stood out on the floor on Saturday.

Wilichowski might be one of the most improved players in the 2027 class from last year at this time, to present day. The six-foot- seven front court player was impactful and explosive in their game versus Quad Cities on Saturday in Stoughton. Jack runs the floor well, is super athletic, and has an extremely high motor for a player of his size. In addition to those intangibles, Wilichowski has a versatile offensive skill set. Jack can score from behind the line and consistently from the paint. Wilichowski is improved passer even since the end of the high school season, and finished this game with four assists in this early slated game. Jack finished the game with 16 points, 9 rebounds, and 4 blocks. Wilichowski is a prospect to monitor due to his diverse skill set, and ability to influence the game in many different ways.

Hendricks is one of the many sharpshooting guards for the 1848 squad. The prospect out of Green Bay Notre Dame, is a player you want on your team, as he does all the right things on the floor. Austin has a high basketball IQ, finding teammates running in transition and for kickouts in the half court. He tallied four assists in his early morning game due to his outstanding court vision. Hendricks is a knockdown perimeter shooter and has great feet, and a very confident/quick release. Austin can also impact the game on the defensive end with his instincts in the passing lanes and his junkyard dog mentality on the ball. Hendricks is one of the main staples returning for a talented Notre Dame team next year in the FRCC, and will be a guard to keep close tabs on the rest of this Spring and Summer.

Feske, out of Seymour had the most impressive performance in the games I watched on Saturday. Isaac is not the tallest front court player in Stoughton this weekend, but he is the most physical player by far. Feske can impose his will in the paint with his superior strength, relentless nose for the ball, and explosive athleticism. Isaac had several eye-popping offensive rebounds where he rose over a taller DCBA player to secure extra opportunities for his Legends' team offensively. Feske can step out and shoot it consistently from three, making him a nightmare to defend for opposing teams . To cap this game off, Feske threw down a massive two handed slam on a DCBA defender putting an exclamation point on his outstanding performance. Feske finished with 15 points and several rebounds. Isaac is an interesting prospect that should attract some interest from collegiate programs as we get deeper in the spring and summer.

Decorah is one of the many weapons for a very talented [program_tooltip program_id='2076023' first='Wisconsin' last='Academy']- Slaby 16u team. Caleb has some position versatility as he has length, and ability to guard 1-5 on the floor. The six-foot-three combo guard can heat up his matchup on the ball and get into passing lanes. Decorah is a crafty and acrobatic finisher that can finish explosively at the rim. Caleb was also impressive with his ability to play in transition. The prospect from Adams-Friendship sprints end to end on the break and can find his teammates on kickouts, or can finish strong directly at the rim. One of the main guys coming back for the Green Devils next season, Decorah and his high school team figures to be the favorites in the South Central Conference next season.

CV Select has plethora of sharp shooters on their roster, but they also have players that can get downhill and dominate the paint. Brennan is one of those guys for the AAU club based out of the western part of the state. Loiselle- Christianson is a left handed explosive wing prospect that can get to the paint at will with his physical strength and athleticism. Brennan is still working on other parts of his game, but I was impressed with his ability to finish in the halfcourt and in transition. The prospect out of McDonell Central, has a good feel in transition facilitating for CV. Brennan's physical tools give him a lot of upside as we progress in the club season.

Gower put on a show in the first half for CV select with his ability to play above the rim. Connor, who attends Altoona High School, is a high flying wing player who can dunk on opponents, attack the basket, and can secure boards on the glass with ease. Gower was a big reason why his team got out to a large halftime lead against the Minnesota Spartans. Gower hit a deep triple, and got downhill to finish with ten first half points. Gower stands at six-foot-three but has a long wing span that helps him on the defensive end as well. Connor is tough on the ball, and can help erase shots at the rim with his athleticism and good instincts to disrupt opposing teams in the paint. Gower is an interesting prospect moving forward with his physical tools, and improved skill set.
