Impossible to ignore the body of work that Brown has showcased since his summer surge and his level of production has only continued to reach new heights. Not only is Brown putting up video game numbers individually, he's leading this Carroll (DC) team to marquee wins and positively impacting those that he shares the floor with. His dynamism as a lethal scorer from anywhere on the floor, creativity as a passer off the live dribble and the standard in which he demands from those around him all have us comfortable with claiming Brown as the top prospect in this update.

Samuels maintains his position at No. 2 as he's continued to showcase himself as one of the better shot-makers in the class. McNamara (MD) has taken on a daunting schedule that includes some of the top teams in the country and currently sit 7-5 overall. Samuels, who is deciding between Alabama and Georgetown, has missed couple of games thus far due to injury, but leaves his mark in the scoring and rebounding categories with consistency and has been the catalyst for a couple of their needle-moving wins such as Sierra Canyon (CA) and Santa Margarita (CA).

Oladotun falls to three in the latest update as he has yet to play in a game this season for Blake. According to a source, he's not expected back until mid-January as he continues to work his way back from an apparent ankle injury. Unfortunately, Blake scheduled a few marquee matchups that Oladotun has missed and would've been a great opportunity for continued evaluation after a strong summer with [program_tooltip program_id='2078457' first='Team' last='Durant'] as he reclassed to 2026 and showed well at the 17U level. There's no doubt in Oladotun skill and potential upside, but while he proved some things during his spring and summer, there were still some questions coming into the season that could've been answered had he been on the floor. He'll still have a great chance to take the public school sector by storm as Blake boasts a talented enough roster around him to have the chance to play on Oladotun's future college floor in College Park.

The Indiana pledge has quietly put together a very consistent season thus far for McNamara (MD) and particularly when Samuels is out, he shoulders the scoring role with great competency. As mentioned above with Samuels, the Mustangs have battled through a tough schedule with no shortage of nationally ranked guards and Moody has not only embraced the challenge, but thrived with great pace and balance within his attack. The biggest question with the team will be whether or not the cohesion can come together in the long-term to fuel them through conference play. Moody's leadership has shown improvement and will need to continue to be a given if they plan on reaching their potential as a legitimate WCAC contender.

Collingwood falls one spot in this update as the Mississippi State pledge has somewhat struggled with consistency after he caught lighting in a bottle with New World this summer, particularly in the month of July. There's no question of the toughness, versatility and untapped upside that remains with the hybrid forward as he's packed with athleticism, strength and the qualities that you look for in a HM Division I wing. Moving forward, we'll be focusing on Collingwood's ability to pick his spots within the Sidwell offense, continuing to defend at a high-level and impacting the game in a multitude of ways. Sidwell currently sits 6-4 overall after a slow start, but have experienced and uptick the past few weeks with recent wins over Bergen Catholic (NJ) and Hudson Catholic (NJ).

The future Purdue big man came into the season with high expectations given the long list of dominant centers over the years that the Boilermakers have invested in. Georgetown Prep has struggled mightily thus far as a team, but Huan has been the bright spot despite seeing not on double, but triple-teams over the course of games. He's skilled on the block, powerful above the rim on both ends and has shown improved fluidity with his movements around the perimeter.

Ibe stays put at No. 7, but has shown some nice signs in the recent weeks as he's imposing his size and will in the paint with more aggression and certainty. With Ibe, the potential can't expect to be fully developed until a couple of years into college, but there is a very intriguing ceiling with his combination of size and length. The Warriors are 11-1 overall and their overall success in the EPL as well as the national prep rankings will depend heavily upon Ibe's ability to control the paint at both ends of the floor. Maryland and Villanova are a couple of programs involved with the 7-foot-1 center.

Despite maintaining his No. 8 rankings, Cannady has done nothing but help his case as one of the best guards in the DMV. The UMass Lowell commit continues to prove why he will be set up to be another prospect from the area who has a chance to head to Massachusetts and will be given the opportunity to thrive immediately. His ability to score it off the bounce, may defenders pay for any slight hesitation closing out on catch-and-shoots as well as his floor vision are all characteristics that have been evident with his play on The Grind Session under head coach Lafayette Dublin.

No movement for Meeks, but maintains his status as one of the best available 2026 prospects in the area. His volume scoring and lethal shooting from beyond the arc can quickly establish insurmountable leads for the Stags or help dig them out of holes established early in games. Simply put, when you're coaching against Meeks you need to maintain your intensity, concentration and pressure at all times or else the momentum can shift within the matter of a few possessions. DeMatha is 7-2 overall with their two losses coming to very respectable programs in Santa Margarita (CA) and Notre Dame (CA). They've complied significant wins over programs such as Mount Carmel (MD), Fayetteville Academy (NC), Torrey Pines (CA), and Clinton Grace (MD) among others. James Madison, St. Louis and San Francisco are the latest schools to become involved with Meeks.

Able's commitment to UMBC will prove to be a quality addition as the 6-foot-3 guard has put together a fantastic start to his senior campaign. He's become the all-time leading scorer in John Carroll's history and just a couple of days ago, hauled in his 500th career rebound. Those won't be the only feats that Able crosses off his list this season. An elite three-point shooter, Able has expanded his game while improving his body to become a legitimate threat off the dribble. What gets overlooked is the leadership qualities that he possesses and they've clearly impacted the youth within this John Carroll roster as the Patriots sit 12-3 overall and set to make a run in the BCL and MIAA A Conference this February.
