Who is winning the top games and what will the score be? We give you our predictions for Tuesday night!

1AAAA Wayzata at 7AAAA Prior Lake

Match-Ups to Watch

[player_tooltip player_id='1560807' first='Isaac' last='Olmstead'] vs [player_tooltip player_id='2433515' first='Kolby' last='Thompson']. A playmaker match-up. Olmstead has the more depth behind him in the backcourt, Thompson will need to do more. Both very good players.

[player_tooltip player_id='1560778' first='Nolen' last='Anderson'] vs Kolby Sambew. Great chance for Sambrew to make an impression. He will likely see a lot of Anderson considering Tommy Shungavelu and [player_tooltip player_id='2635710' first='Colten' last='Gunderson'] will be battling inside, can Kolby chase and get a hand to Anderson?

Prediction: Wazyata 94 Prior Lake 78. The [program_tooltip program_id='2075965' first='Trojans' last=''] won this 98-73 in the same spot last year to start the year. I think Prior Lake will have more depth built this year and keep it somewhat closer.

6AA Breck at 9AAAA Apple Valley

Match-Ups to Watch

[player_tooltip player_id='1560864' first='JP' last='Musoke'] vs [player_tooltip player_id='1560866' first='Camare'' last='Young']. Young is a player that had some college opportunity after this summer but is still unsigned. Versatile player. Musoke is a talent looking to make a statement and this is a good game for that.

[player_tooltip player_id='1560791' first='Muaath' last='Muhammad'] vs [player_tooltip player_id='2271330' first='Trey' last='Parker']. I don't know that we will see much of these two on each other, we still need to get a look at what the depth for these teams is, but these are returning guards that are top 100 level players. Parker had a great junior year, Mu had an excellent 17u season.

Prediction: Apple Valley 84 Breck 71. The Eagles bring back a lot while Breck lost most of their rotation to transfer and graduation.

4AA Minnehaha Academy at 7AAA Orono

Match-Ups to Watch

[player_tooltip player_id='1874818' first='Dane' last='Skime'] vs [player_tooltip player_id='2416947' first='Ayden' last='Green']. Two players in new spots after transfer hoping to lead their teams. Skime comes from Rochester Century, Green went to Minnehaha from Breck. Green is a player I think could be all state.

[player_tooltip player_id='2424180' first='Grant' last='Hansen'] vs [player_tooltip player_id='2419994' first='Carter' last='Cupito']. A pair of shooters not big in frame but big in range and touch that can really change a game with their shooting touch. And with both teams having to replace senior scoring production, both are in a position for a huge night.

Prediction: Orono 75 Minnehaha 73. Close game, I think it could go either way, lots of new faces on the floor.

10AAA Waseca at Belle Plaine

Match-Ups to Watch

[player_tooltip player_id='2121332' first='Deron' last='Russell'] vs [player_tooltip player_id='2118474' first='Ethan' last='Martin']. This will be one of those games where you are likely to see two amazing players do some amazing things. They are Class AA All State First Team honored players in the preseason and two guys capable of huge nights. One of them could hit the 40 area tonight.

Prediction: Waseca 77 Belle Plaine 75. If I had to pick one game to watch tonight this would be it.

Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial at 5A Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton

Match-Ups to Watch

Charlie Gengler vs [player_tooltip player_id='1560810' first='Daulton' last='Bauer']. Playmaking guards at around six feet or just under both Gengler and Bauer are seniors that were all league last year and led their teams to good seasons. Gengler led his team in scoring, rebounds, assists and steals last year while Bauer does a lot of that too.

[player_tooltip player_id='3102117' first='Brayden' last='Mathews'] vs [player_tooltip player_id='2386616' first='Gavin' last='Bauer']. This is a good example of the difference of these teams. Brayden is 6'4 and three inches taller plus they have [player_tooltip player_id='2381221' first='Carter' last='Lowis'] while Gavin is the quicker, do everything players that is on full attack all the time.

Prediction: JWP 74 LCWM 65. JWP won this game 71-44 last season. I don't think it will be like that this year as LCWM is bigger and they didn't play last night like JWP did. But you can't ignore results of a 27 point win from ten months ago when the teams look pretty much the same.

Legacy Christian at 9AAA Becker

Match-Ups to Watch

[player_tooltip player_id='2382254' first='Hudson' last='Strand'] vs [player_tooltip player_id='2399155' first='Troy' last='Nuest']/[player_tooltip player_id='2417091' first='Isiah' last='Boyer']. With [player_tooltip player_id='1628775' first='Sawyer' last='Brown'] out it is going to fall on Nuest and Boyer to step up their playmaking more and with opportunity I think they will. Strand is off to a nice start and he is the Legacy playmaker.

[player_tooltip player_id='2410596' first='Max' last='Leifker'] vs [player_tooltip player_id='2399176' first='Bryce' last='Paumen']. This is a senior with the size edge against the senior with the working edge. Leifker is skilled with face up talent while Paumen will battle people all day.

Prediction: Becker 76 Legacy Christian 74. Becker took the L here last year by 16 and while they did lose Brown, Legacy lost more to graduation. With Becker at home we think they win a close one.
