As we head into the new year these are the athletes whose impact can't be ignored and players who are turning heads, making big plays and showing why they should be the ones to watch all season long.    Coleman is only be a freshman, but through seven games he's already proven he belongs with the big boys at Vanguard Classical East averaging 25 points per game. He impacts the game on both ends of the floor, bringing a scrappy, fearless approach every night. Coleman fights for loose balls, competes on every possession and isn't afraid of the moment. He finds ways to score, makes the extra effort plays and plays with an edge that sets the tone for his team. His early impact shows this is just the beginning     Kocerha has established himself as one of the most dominant players at Simla, filling up every part of the stat sheet. Averaging 23.8 points, 11.8 rebounds, and 5.5 assists per game, he impacts the game in multiple ways. His ability to score at all levels, stretch the floor with his range, and control the glass makes him a matchup nightmare. What separates him is his feel for the game as he makes smart, timely passes and consistently makes the right play. Kocerha's size, skill and versatility make him a huge presence every night     Hill is already a committed player, yet he's somehow taken another major leap at Cheyenne Wells, showing a level of dominance many expected. Posting career highs of 27.5 points, 19.7 rebounds and adding 1.5 steals and assists each night, he's controlling games with his size, length and powerful frame. He's nearly unstoppable down low, finishing through contact and scoring consistently around the basket. What stands out most is how easy he makes it look, imposing his will on both ends and proving his ceiling may be even higher than ever     Guzman is quickly making a name for himself at Rye, emerging as one of the most dynamic offensive threats in the area. Averaging 28.3 points and 11.2 rebounds per game, he's putting constant pressure on defenses with his quick first step and confident handle. He can get downhill at will, finish through traffic and knock down jumpers when defenders sag. Guzman's ability to score at all three levels while also crashing the glass has made him a nightly matchup problem and a player whose stock is rising fast this season     Orji at Jefferson Academy is making a major impact at 6'6”, showing he can do it all inside and on the perimeter. Averaging 22.8 points and 8.3 rebounds per game, he dominates the paint with strong finishes and consistently cleans the glass. Orji is also a threat from the corner three, stretching defenses and making it hard for opponents to leave him open. His combination of size, scoring versatility and rebounding ability makes him a cornerstone and a player opponents have to account for every possession     Lozano a junior at Summit, is quickly making waves with his dynamic play, averaging 24.3 points and 4.3 assists per game. He always keeps his head up, surveying the floor to make smart plays and can get his shot off quickly in any situation. Lozano has range, can knock down perimeter shots and doubles as a facilitator, setting up teammates effectively while still being a constant scoring threat. His combination of scoring, vision and court awareness makes him a tough matchup and a central piece of his teams success this season
