He consistently got downhill using his quick first step to break down defenders and attack the lane. Once there he showed great touch and body control, finishing through contact and around bigger defenders. His step back jumper was a major weapon, creating space and knocking it down when his team needed a bucket. Alfonso played with pace, kept defenses on their heels and made smart decisions throughout. His ability to score at all three levels while controlling the tempo made him a tough matchup and a key contributor all weekend long</p>

He attacked the glass relentlessly, creating extra possessions and giving his team valuable second chance opportunities. Around the rim he was efficient and composed, finishing strong through contact and capitalizing on close looks. What really stood out was his ability to stretch the floor and knock down the three when left open and keeping defenses honest. Schaan's motor never slowed, and he consistently found ways to impact the game without needing plays drawn up for him. Once the ball was up the floor he ran hard in transition, beating defenders down the court and putting pressure on the rim. Around the basket he finished strong and didn't hesitate to rise up for powerful dunks that brought energy to his team.
