The Centennial State Cup brought out a wave of standout performances, and several players used the stage to firmly put their names on the map moving forward. From high level scoring bursts to defensive intensity and playmaking that shifted momentum, these athletes didn't just compete but impacted winning and made themselves impossible to ignore as the summer continues.

Ray brought a burst of energy every time he hit the floor this weekend. His quickness jumps out immediately, especially with how well he changes speeds to keep defenders guessing. He's constantly on the attack, putting pressure on the defense and forcing them to react. What stood out most was his ability to fill gaps from finding open lanes, cutting at the right time and creating opportunities without needing the ball in his hands for long. He plays fast but under control, making him tough to contain. Ray's ability to create and capitalize on space made him a consistent problem throughout the tournament

Gonzales showed exactly why his frame and length are such problems for defenders all weekend. He uses his size well inside, carving out space and finishing strong around the rim. Whether it's sealing early in the post or sliding into open gaps, he consistently found ways to score in the paint. His length allows him to extend over defenders and clean up misses, making him a reliable interior option. Gonzales plays with confidence down low and doesn't shy away from contact, embracing the physical side of the game. He gave his team a steady inside scoring presence throughout the tournament

Lam made his impact felt all weekend by doing the little things that win games. He works extremely well without the ball, constantly moving and finding ways to get open when defenses lose track of him. Once he has a lane he's aggressive going to the rim, finishing through contact and putting pressure on the defense every time he attacks. On the defensive end he brings consistent pressure, staying active and making it tough for opponents to get comfortable. Lam's energy and movement kept him involved in every possession, and his ability to create advantages without needing the ball stood out throughout the tournament

Ayres was one of those players who constantly kept defenses on edge all weekend. He has that quick flasher ability and slipped into openings at just the right moment to get easy touches and create scoring chances. His dribble dive game stood out, as he attacked gaps decisively and put pressure on the rim every time he touched it. Once he gets downhill he's strong going to the basket and finishes with confidence. On the defensive end he added value with active hands and timely steals, jumping passing lanes and turning defense into offense. Ayres energy and ability to impact the game in multiple ways made him a steady difference maker throughout the tournament

Gloyd might not have been a name people came in talking about, but he made sure they left remembering it. He brings great size and knows exactly how to use it, carving out space underneath and making life tough for opponents. He consistently boxed out, controlled the glass, and turned strong positioning into easy buckets around the rim. What really stood out was his motor and how he ran the floor hard in transition, creating opportunities before the defense could even set. He plays with purpose, physicality and awareness, doing all the little things that impact winning. By the end of the tournament, Gloyd wasn't unknown anymore and he is a problem team have to account for
