In Day 2 of the 2025 SASRI Holiday Classic I was impressed with the Chesire Academy team as they really defended well, as they contested high percentage shots unbelieveably and ball movement offensively was impressive. Winchendon didn't give up as they score 64 in the second half. St. Andrews will compete hard in the NEPSAC AA. Father Henry Carr out of Canada has some athletes. Brimmer is fun to watch as they hustle, make tough shots and compete. Newcomers Albany has a dude listed below but talent around him. Kimball Union will be difficult to stop in NEPSAC AA. Lawrence Academy has a dude as well with teammates surrounding him. Tilton looks to be capable of making a run in NEPSAC AA. Reason Prep was a late addition to the tournament but has athletes. MacDuffie and St. George each appear to have balance and scoring from about 5-6 guys. Wheeler has a local legend's son on the team and Hopkins has a few players to watch.
Just wow, the Yale commit scored career high 49 points. Shot very well from behind the arc, with his back turned coming off screens, even NBA range. Scored in all facets of the game, creative especially his slot drive reverse scoop layup driving opposite hand. Went 17/18 at the line, drawing multiple fouls. He gets to the line cause of his strength, difficulty knocking him off his path. He guarded Brimmer's hottest scorer as of last couple of games, contesting the shots exceptionally well without fouling. His 2 on 1 decision making in transition was just as impressive as anything else he did today. Best shooting/scoring performance I have seen in high school!

I love the way the ball comes out of his hands quick finding his teammates. Shot the ball well from deep in rhythm, quick release, no dip 3 player. Defensively made Winchendon's players alter their shots, making easy shots look difficult. Continuing with his defense forced turnovers or inaccurate passes without getting his hands on the ball. Out hustled opposing players to 50/50 balls and rebounds. Air Force commit is a must watch!

I was blown away by his shooting performance. Knocked 5 3's down in the matter of minutes. His plus to minus ratio must have been extremely high because he worked very hard defensively creating offense especially transition offensive for his teammates. First time watching Christian but I would say D2 college teams should take a look at him and D3 teams are a must. He has two full seasons left before college, if he wants to play D1 he could but minutes would be limited. I would love the opportunity to see him play again!

I loved how he changed the complexion of the second half, creating turnovers, timing rebounds. He is as tough as I have seen, getting great paint touches, arduous made hoops especially off hand. The kid scores in a variety of ways runners, mid-range, deep (catch/shoot, in transition). I would expect his rercuitment to heat up. If he continues to play like I saw he is more than capable of getting tons of D2/D3 offers. I loved his heart and determination!

Elijah has incredible vision on the floor, making accurate in the box passes keeping guys in position to shoot right away. He knows where to find his teammates at all times, making a variety of passes, over the shoulder/off hand even with 1 hand. No weak dribbling from him, he pounds the rock showing off his strength, as he is put together for a 2027 player. He demonstrated his capability today to be an alpha in the scoring department if his team needs. Prediction is D3 offers now, high D2 potential with low/mid major D1 offers soon.

Runs the floor well, gets to spots on the floor where his teammates can find him. Secures tough passes moving his feet well knocking down shots. Runs transition offense effectively. Defensively rotates down/over, tags guys in transition. He is intelligent as anyone on his team. A player you should watch in Toronto area. He can play NCAA D3 or JUCO in the future.

Love this kid!!!! On every possession he should get a touch. Turns corners quick, slices the defenses up like a machete with big strides. Continues to score tough, impossible shots consistently. Shots made today tear drops, off hand floaters, 3 ball (off the bounce, catch/shoot). He does a good job at probing, directing traffic like a QB. Crashes hard for rebounds. Gets the job done on other end, eyes in the back of his head as he tipped a ball with back turned to player dribbling towards free throw line from left wing as well because the guy he was guarding was at top of key moving towards right slot position which led to easy fastbreak layup. The way the play developed he guarded his guy tight the way I would have coached him up. He is fearless when it comes to driving against the bigs. His coach and I had a conversation before the game, we both agreed low D1 is in this kid's future. He would also have a fantastic D2/D3 career.

The southpaw has a knack for finding offensive putbacks. Scores effectively around the rim and for a high percentage. Elevates well above the rim for rebounds. Draws multiple fouls, stretches the floor. Very athletic will definetely be a Top 3 scorer on Kimball all year. A good player to help beat the press. His stock will continue to grow and receive more D1 interest for next year even for this Valpo commit. A high motor, athlete you must watch!

First impression of the Marquette commit is that Shaka gets a Big East ready physical athlete. He will be able to wear guys down next year and for years to come. He stretches the floor off the bounce, catch and shoot situations or in transition. He will get to the foul line multiple times a game. Leads the fast break on this Lawrence team at times but has quality vision with his interior passing skills.

He is shifty and quick, getting downhill especially in transition. Has a good second bounce for rebounds but just rebounds well in general. A great mid-range game and around the rim scorer. As a guard it was great to see him knock down multiple 3's. Jakare is long and lean which causes havoc on the defense leading to fastbreak offense and ability to warn off players from driving with ease to the hoop keeping players near the perimeter. Jakare should attract D2 interest if not D3 teams would get a steal.
