Trimm is the Patriots' returning leading scorer, and in his Senior year, he wants to be even better. Trimm checks off a ton of boxes. He has good size, is a physical and aggressive scorer who uses his strength to get to where he wants, and he has a lethal mid-range game. Trimm gets the ball, sizes you up, and rises over defenders with pull-up jumpers. He's also an underrated rebounder who goes right up for easy baskets as well. The Patriots look for him as their leading scorer, and he can also play off the ball. When locked in, there aren't many prospects in the state that can match him. We went to see him last night, and he turned it on in the 2nd half, where he finished with 15 points total, and 13 of those came at a time that Overland was making a push back into the game. We're excited to see how he continues to impact the game, and will be curious to see if he has those takeover moments. He has the Patriots sitting at 3-0 right now. He's a player we certainly believe will pop.

With Cobb, he's capable of having a game-changing play at any moment. He's South's man in the middle, and he not only protects the paint but secures the board and gets out in transition for fast break dunks. When he hits the corner and makes up his mind to attack, it's showtime as he truly attempts to dunk THROUGH opponents. Cobb gets to the FT line with his relentless motor and his ability to grab boards and get to the rim. He's also expanding his game for a few 3-pointers, and that opens up South's offense. We've liked what we've seen from Cobb to begin the season, but if South wants to turn things around, they will need more from him. I expect him to pop this season and for him to get it right.

Evo is one of the most entertaining guards we have in the state and is a rare breed as a true PG. Evo is looking to set teammates up, and his feel for the game is what separates him. He's dangerous in ISO situations, he reads pick and rolls and looks to score. Evo handles pressure and it is tough to press or trap Northfield as a result. He's putting up 12.5 points, and 3.5 assists a game to start the season, and we expect both of those numbers to increase, especially the assists. Northfield is 2-0 on the year, including a big win over T-Ridg,e and Evo was a reason why. This should be a season where he jumps onto the radar as a marquee name.

Andrew has started to finally receive recognition for his contributions to that Rangeview team, and it's STILL not enough. What he does for Rangeview not only gives them their identity, but his selflessness and ability to do what's asked of him is why he may be their most important player. He's an X factor in that sense, but also a player who will pop. He's on top of the press, he gets his hands in passing lanes as a disruptor and scores, he finishes around the basket, and sometimes he sells out to try and shut a guy down. Through 3 games, he's filling up the box score with 7.3 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 4 assists a game. He may not wow with huge scoring performances, but that's not what's asked of him. It's rare to see a player on such a talented team star in his role, and he does just that. Big season ahead for Anthony.

The timing couldn't be better on feeling as if Jack could pop this season. We went to see him last night, and he had himself a game. 21 points and 11 assists while leading George to another victory. He's the team's primary ballhandler, he settles the Patriots down, and he's who gets the team in their sets. Jack is a pass-first guard who understands when he has to take over. He's the team's best shooter, and that's been on display. Through 3 games, he's shooting 50% from beyond the arc. He's also leading the conference in assists at 8.0 apg and is averaging 4 steals per game. Jack has been on a tear to start the year and is a huge reason why the Patriots are 3-0. A big year is upcoming for him, and a player that many people need to get eyes on.
