It was point guard [player_tooltip player_id='1561031' first='Cameron' last='Webster'] who set the tone out of the gate for Lawrence North. The 5'11" senior connected on a couple of jump shots, including a three-pointer, in the opening period to help build a 19-14 advantage. Both [player_tooltip player_id='2617826' first='Davis' last='Baker'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1989373' first='Britton' last='Thomas'] knocked down triples as well to get the Wildcats going. [player_tooltip player_id='2252744' first='Duke' last='Karnes'] then answered with a three-point shot, his third of the game, and Lawrence North never looked back from there. A couple of late turnovers did eventually give Lawrence Central a three-point shot in the air to win it at the end, but it missed and the Wildcats survived 80-78 on the road.
