Elite Prep League Standouts Class 27-28-29 Part 1

The Elite Prep League continues to showcase its abundance of emerging talent, with the Classes of 2027, 2028, and 2029 making their mark as the next wave of standout prospects. This new generation features players who are already demonstrating advanced skill sets, high basketball IQ, and impressive versatility at an early age. From dynamic scorers and athletic bigs to playmakers with mature floor games, these young athletes are quickly establishing themselves as future stars, setting the stage for exciting developments in prep basketball. In Part 1, we highlight some of the most promising individuals whose performances and potential are turning heads and elevating their teams across the league.    Ragland is a young prospect with clear long-term upside. He displays strong IQ and awareness, consistently making smart reads and understanding how to impact the game within the flow. Offensively, he's already showing the ability to score from multiple levels, giving glimpses of a versatile skill set that will only expand as he continues to grow and develop. Ragland's foundation and feel make him a name to watch in the 2029 class on a national level.     Given the effortless way he scores the ball, it was easy to recognize his impact. Carter is a smooth, well-rounded guard with great IQ, size, and athleticism. He handles the ball well and can create for himself and others off the bounce. Carter is a willing playmaker but is arguably at his best when looking to fill it up as a scorer from all three levels. He's an active defender and rebounder. Next in his development process is working on getting stronger, as it would make him a more physically imposing player.     Royal has opened the season in impressive fashion, consistently delivering high-level production. He uses his mobility and downhill attacking ability to pressure defenses, excels in transition, and finishes well around the rim. Royal stays active on the glass and impacts the game with his energy on both ends. His versatility and relentless approach make him a major difference-maker for the Perkiomen program for the next 3 years.     Otite showed a ton of promising flashes on both ends of the court. The 6'10 big continues to stand out as an exceptional shooter, now pairing his perimeter touch with greater assertiveness and physicality. Defensively, he impressed with his timing and positioning as a shot-blocker, protecting the rim and altering plays. Otite's blend of size, shooting, and defensive instincts gives him notable upside moving forward.     Victor is a 6-foot-7 prospect in the Class of 2027 from Canada. Clearly one of the top 2027 prospects in the league on display, he found ways to dominate opponents on both ends of the floor. Abrorowa is a lethal floor-spacer and knockdown shooting threat who naturally causes matchup problems for opponents with his inside-out ability. Scored 26 points in the game against Polaris. He's a smart, mobile forward with impressive skill for his size/position. Abrorowa can post up or attack off the bounce and finding positive results. He also secures rebounds and blocks or alters shots at a nice rate defensively.     [player_tooltip player_id='2353569' first='Makiah' last='Gray'] is a 6-foot-1 prospect in the Class of 2027. He continues to highlight a strong understanding of how to make an impact with or without the ball in his hands. Makiah is a smart, scrappy, high-motor guard with an unselfish approach to the game. He's a capable perimeter shooter who can attack closeouts and make the extra pass as needed. Staley does a nice job of filling in the gaps offensively. He's also a pesky defender who forces turnovers and contains his assignment well.
