One of the biggest stock risers from the Prep Hoops Expo in the fall, McGuinea is one of the most talented vertical athletes in Ohio's 2027 class. McGuinea was flying across the court with multiple jaw dropping dunks and blocked shots. Improving as a ball handler and perimeter shooter, McGuinea is going to have the opportunity to play with the ball in his hands for a Bedford team that sits at 2-1 with their lone loss to Saint Ignatius. Expect to hear a lot about McGuinea and Bedford this winter around northeast Ohio.

The second part of Maumee Valley's guard duo in the class of 2027, Price has the physical tools and length to impact the game on the defensive end of the court. A leap in that part of the game could allow Price to jump even higher in our rankings because he also has the ability to get hot from the outside as a shooter. In a season opening blowout win over Toledo Scott Price had 17 points, 8 rebounds and a breakaway dunk. Look out for Maumee Valley Country Day this winter in Division VI.

Tolliver has started his junior season strong with 12 points, four steals and a breakaway dunk in their season opening win over Canal Winchester. Tolliver forms a nice duo with [player_tooltip player_id='2532136' first='Jake' last='Saxton'] for Grove City who I expect to be one of the most improved teams in central Ohio this winter. Tolliver's length and shooting ability also gives him long term upside and the ability to play a role at the college level early on.

Princeton is a team I've gotten the chance to watch a lot over the fall scrimmage season and each time I walk away impressed with Phillips defensive impact, motor and athleticism. Checking those three boxes are key as a role player who won't be expected to lead the team in scoring this season. Despite an early loss, I don't expect Princeton to take many more this season with their depth of talent.
