It is always nice when timing works out perfectly. We were able to watch three games at Huntington North to start the day, spend an hour on the road, and then walk into Delta High School just a few minutes before the start of Bellmont versus Seeger. After that consolation matchup we also had boots on the ground for the semi-final games featuring Scecina Memorial against Fort Wayne South Side and Delta against Jennings County. Here are the top individual performers from those matchups.

A long, athletic forward, Anderson actually came off of the bench for Seeger on Monday night. His presence was quickly felt though as he scored six points in the opening period. Then, he started dominating the offensive glass finishing several putbacks in the second and third quarters. Anderson is very quick and did a great job of slashing his way to the rim and finishing inside. He led Seeger with 16 points and 9 rebounds in a 67-66 win over Bellmont.

Delta is known for playing a methodical style and they typically win with a defense-first mentality. That was certainly true once again on Monday night. However, Bragg provides a needed scoring punch for the Eagles. The talented senior guard was hot out of the gate and went on to score a game-high 15 points as host Delta defeated Jennings County 60-41 to move to the championship game of their holiday tournament.

Jennings County really struggled to get anything going against Delta's zone defense on Monday night. The Eagles did an especially good job of neutralizing Davis, the Panthers' leading score. However, the 6'1" senior guard was still able to score 12 points while connecting on a couple of three-point shots to lead Jennings County. His perimeter shot-making ability, along with what he can do as a playmaker off of the dribble, make him a solid under-the-radar prospect for small colleges to follow.

Our trusted sources in Fort Wayne have been raving to us about this junior point guard, but admittedly we hadn't seen him much in person prior to Monday night. The 5'11" dynamic playmaker did not disappoint. Jordan has a sweet left-handed shooting stroke, plays with great pace, and is very active on the defensive end of the floor. He finished with 16 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists, and 2 steals to lead Fort Wayne South Side to a 58-46 win over Scecina Memorial. The Archers are now 9-0 on the season.

Mathis displayed impressive strength off of the dribble while playing against a very quick Fort Wayne South Side team. It would have been easy to get sped up, but this senior guard stayed under control and used his physicality to consistently get to the rim and finish at the end of his drives. He finished with a team-leading 20 points, but Scecina Memorial came up short losing to Fort Wayne South Side 58-46.

One of the most talented junior guards in the Fort Wayne area, Irby displayed his high-level of physicality in the backcourt on Monday night. It is really hard for opposing guards to handle his strength especially when it is paired with good skill level as well. Irby went off for 25 points including 10 in the fourth quarter to help seal Fort Wayne South Side's 58-46 victory over Scecina Memorial.

We've seen this prospect play over the summer, but this was our first chance seeing him play in a high school setting. It took no time for him to capture our attention. Selking poured in 16 points for Bellmont in the first quarter alone. He was scoring from beyond the arc, at the rim, and every where in between. The super talented sophomore guard went on to lead all scorers with 30 points, but Bellmont fell to Seeger 67-66.
