In the opening matchup, Episcopal (VA) upended Miller School (VA) 67-50. 2027 Simas Kacerauskas had one of the more quiet, but very productive summers with [program_tooltip program_id='2077004' first='Team' last='Takeover'] 16s on the EYBL Circuit and has maintained his effort in the early goings of his junior season. The southpaw forward is skilled with sound footwork when operating on the block, but can also do significant damage when left open from three on the wing and in the corner. He showed Miller a little bit of everything today finishing with 20 points and the win. 2027 guard Ben Edmonds brought stability and craft as the ball handler, making several nice feeds to teammates for open looks. 2027 [player_tooltip player_id='2900602' first='Chuma' last='Achufusi'] helped spark the fourth quarter run with a couple of three's while brining defensive versatility throughout.

Bullis trailed by three heading into halftime of this game but would use a second half surge to pull away and win by a final score of 67-55. Led by the No. 1 ranked 2028 prospect in MD/DC [player_tooltip player_id='2194788' first='Xavier' last='Skipworth']'s 25 points, Bullis was much sharper in the final two frames of this game from an execution standpoint. They were more focused defensively and able to generate quick buckets off illicit shots and turnovers. 2026 [player_tooltip player_id='1588109' first='Finley' last='Billy'] (UPenn) found his mark from three, helped create the momentum to fuel a double-digit advantage as the wing finished with 18 points on 6-of-8 from beyond the arc.

The backcourt 2026 duo of Greg Taylor and [player_tooltip player_id='2347765' first='Kem' last='Dankyi'] both paced the Pallotti offense.

Good Counsel's balance prevails

Good Counsel looked strong in a 71-44 win over Potomac School where they had three players score in double-figures with the lead man being 2026 [player_tooltip player_id='2624360' first='John' last='Bancroft'], who knocked down four three's in the effort. 2028 [player_tooltip player_id='2548919' first='Kyle' last='Brown'] continues his strong sophomore campaign as he followed with 15 and 2027 Israel Tchoubfong scored 12. 2026 [player_tooltip player_id='2316020' first='Jamaal' last='Mansaray'] scored all of his nine in the first half.

John Carroll and Archbishop Wood faced off in the last game of the day and it was the Patriots who would walk away with the 89-73 victory. UMBC pledge [player_tooltip player_id='1782586' first='Aidan' last='Able'] led with a game-high 32 points as the 6-foot-3 guard became the all-time scoring leader in John Carroll history, which speaks for itself when you look at the list of college player and professionals who have played there. He is 21 points away from 2,000 points in his high school career. The other two seniors, both of which remain uncommitted, in [player_tooltip player_id='2547300' first='Andrew' last='Clark'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2453731' first='Parris' last='Lee'] each followed up with 16 and 11 points respectively.
