2025 Liberty Jamboree – Top Performers

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>To kick off the season, several teams across the Portland metro area held jamborees featuring shorter games that allowed squads to get their feet wet and experiment with rotations, sets, and overall flow. On Wednesday, we stopped by the jamboree at Liberty High School, where four local teams — Aloha, Beaverton, Lake Oswego, and Liberty — were in action. Each team played two 14-minute games, and we were able to catch every matchup. Against Aloha, Thomas caught fire with four straight made shots, running the floor hard and attacking the rim with strong drives. He handled the ball well, keeping defenders on edge and consistently creating quality looks. He consistently impacted the game with his versatility. He's a strong defender and dependable team player who uses his mobility and good hands to make plays around the basket. He consistently found quality looks near the rim and converted at a high rate. Freeman also made the extra pass, displayed a smooth jumper, and handled the ball with confidence. He consistently got to the foul line, knocked down perimeter shots, and created opportunities for his teammates.
