Arguably the top energy and motor guy we saw at the NW Big Stage was Brazile, who was literally all over the court whenever he checked into the game. He was absolutely a monster on the glass on both ends, keeping the ball alive with tips even if he wasn’t able to secure the ball himself – dare we say it was a little Dennis Rodman-like. Defensively he was absolutely draped over his assignments and he looked to push the ball upcourt when he had it in his hands as his 11 rebounds helped Beaverton get the win over South Salem

Plenty of energy on both ends from Brazile. The Beaverton sophomore swingman showed no fear getting to the basket, absorbing all sorts of contact. Some hard work on the boards too, finishing with a 12-point, 10-rebound double-double for Players Only in a win. In general, one of the highest motors we saw out of anyone on the day.

Arguably the top performance we saw came from King, who showcased a bit of everything in the games he played. He consistently got to the foul line, knocked down perimeter shots, and created opportunities for his teammates. Brazile also made a strong impact, staying active on the boards at both ends and converting on second-chance opportunities.
