Abalo turned in one of the best performances we’ve seen from him during his high school career, finishing just shy of a triple-double with 21 points, 7 rebounds, and 6 assists. One of the most experienced players in the state, Abalo showcased the complete package as a lead guard. He consistently created advantages off the dribble, found open lanes to the basket, and got to the rim with ease. He did an excellent job setting up teammates while also making plays for himself, and his athleticism was on full display as he had a breakaway dunk in transition.

The Beaverton junior was constantly looking to attack the hoop, using his quick first step to get past defenders for his own finishes or to get the ball to others. He consistently made things happen off the dribble all night. Ahmed finished with 15 Points and 5 Assists in the game we saw him play. (JT)
