WESTWOOD — Pauley Pavilion on the campus of UCLA played host to the second annual Trinity-Mission League Challenge over the weekend, a seven-game showcase event featuring cross-league matchups of two of the top high school basketball leagues in the country. We were in the building for all seven of the games on the day and below are the top forwards and centers we watched.

[player_tooltip player_id='1956520' first='Brayden' last='Kyman'] | 2026 | Santa Margarita

When it comes to versatile offensive players in the Southland, and the state at-large, few come close to whay Kyman can do on that end of the floor. The 6-foot-8 forward is a lethal three-point shooter off the catch, can initiate offense in a point-forward role, is a smart passer and scorer out of the post and is simply an all-around offensive hub who can be deployed in various ways. The Washington State-signee scored a team-high 28 points with eight rebounds in The Eagles' win over Notre Dame.

[player_tooltip player_id='2916734' first='Cayman' last='Martin'] | 2027 | Crespi

Martin is an important piece for the Celts because of his ability to impact the game without needing a ton of touches or plays called for him. The 6-foot-6 junior is a big time energy, hustle and motor guy who is best when ripping thru to his right hand, driving into the teeth of the defense and finishing through contact. Martin scored 19 points in Crespi's win over Mater Dei.

[player_tooltip player_id='2888673' first='Chadrack' last='Mpoyi'] | 2026 | Crean Lutheran

Mpoyi was a dominant force in the paint for Crean Lutheran in its win over Campbell Hall. There was no matchup that could contain the 6-foot-10, 240-pound center as he stepped through dump-off passes into two-hand power finished at the rim and spaced out to the dunker spot to finish off lob passes. Mpoyi also has some traditional back-to-the-basket feel that allows him to score on isolation touches in the post. The Minnesota-signee finished with 26 points and eight rebounds.

[player_tooltip player_id='2878517' first='Cherif' last='Millogo'] | 2027 | St. Francis

Millogo has been the talk of SoCal over the first few weeks of the high school season and it's easy to see why. There are no players in the region who have the combination of size, fluidity, touch around the basket and defensive impact that the 7-foot-3 center brings to the table. Much of the St. Francis offense was just lobbing the ball over the top of the defense into the waiting arms of Millogo who finished with 17 points, 21 rebounds and four blocked shots.

[player_tooltip player_id='2425665' first='Drew' last='Anderson'] | 2026 | Santa Margarita

Anderson is a guy who consistently produces regardless if a play is called to go his way or not. The 6-foot-9 senior can face-up and strong-arm his way to the rim and finish through contact, score on the block to his right hand and is a workhorse on the offensive and defensive boards. Anderson notched a double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds.

[player_tooltip player_id='2779860' first='Jake' last='Schutt'] | 2026 | Servite

Schutt's veteran presence, physicality and willingness to do the dirty work has been - and will continue to be - highly important for Servite to continue its early season success. The 6-foot-4 forward is a strong interior finisher who can score on face-up drives or second chance opportunities on offensive boards or tips. Schutt also knocked down a crucial three-point shot late in the game in a one-point win over Loyola. Schutt finished with 12 points.
