had an excellent summer. He took full advantage of displaying his combo guard skill set on the Adidas circuit. At 6’5, he showed he could slide into the point guard role, read defenses and create plays out of the pick-and-roll with consistency. Whether it’s scoring himself or setting up a teammate, he is able to make a non-premeditated decision.
His mid-range game is tough (tuff) with great footwork and the ability to get to his spots allows him to be very efficient. Obenyah’s body control allows him to finish plays in traffic, while his handle and poise gives him the ability to dictate pace and attack when he chooses. His confidence with the ball allows him to dribble in tight spaces and probe, if its nothing there his mid range fadeaway is merely unguarded.
Obenyah and the Pride will be a tough team to beat in Norcal.

has a very smooth game. He uses his IQ to anticipate how his defenders are going to play him, and from there he takes just a few dribbles to get to his spots. Obenyah also knows how to get to the rim and is capable of making tough finishes. His efficient play helped earn him the MVP award of the Team Championship.
Stats – 19 Points in the Team Championship

Obenyah made his case for top prospect at the West Session 1. He was consistent, and hard to guard. The playmaking guard does it all. He showed off his point guard skills facilitating up top when needed. He’s a relentless driver with balance, strength, and determination to get a bucket. He’s hitting the mid-range off the dribble, continues to sharpen his 3-point shot making. He’s a rebounder, and top notch defender.
