Preseason All State Teams: 2028

We are less than a week away from the first games of the 2025-26 KHSAA basketball season. The excitement level for this year is high. This is the first time in a few years that we haven't had a few teams that are clearly ahead of the pack in the race for the state title. It's early but there are plenty of 2028s in Kentucky who already hold D1 offers and several who are inside the top 100 in America already. With these lists, positions DO MATTER. So you will not see a bunch of teams loaded with guards.

First Team:

C - [player_tooltip player_id='2360949' first='Trey' last='Hillerich'], Male

F - [player_tooltip player_id='2529539' first='Andrew' last='Terry'], Montgomery County

F - [player_tooltip player_id='2694628' first='Austin' last='Davie'], Campbell County

G - [player_tooltip player_id='2541123' first='Ryder' last='Akins'], George Rogers Clark

G - [player_tooltip player_id='2429606' first='Josh' last='Lindsay'], St. Xavier

Second Team:

F - [player_tooltip player_id='2454749' first='Brady' last='Orem'], Great Crossing

F - [player_tooltip player_id='2391345' first='Joaquin' last='Siakam'], South Oldham

G - [player_tooltip player_id='2454751' first='Grayson' last='Burton'], Madison Central

G - [player_tooltip player_id='2439209' first='Jordan' last='Mitchell'], Male

G - [player_tooltip player_id='2194461' first='Austin' last='Sears'], North Oldham

Third Team:

C - [player_tooltip player_id='2360963' first='Corey' last='Cunagin'], North Laurel

F - [player_tooltip player_id='2520123' first='Boogie' last='Cook'], Ballard

F - [player_tooltip player_id='2429594' first='Everett' last='Stuart'], Lexington Catholic

G - [player_tooltip player_id='2455854' first='Xadrian' last='Johnson'], Shelby County

G - [player_tooltip player_id='2529549' first='Baron' last='Clay'], Ballard
