Lutheran East played some of the top teams at the event and found success thanks to their tenacious guard defensive duo of Harrison and [player_tooltip player_id='2144496' first='Chris' last='Hill']. Harrison forced turnovers, knocked down shots at a high percentage. Looking confident with the ball in his hands, Harrison was one of the top players I saw all day and certainly worthy of a rankings bump during the next update for the 2027 class.

I just love watching Stokes compete as he simply produces no matter who he plays for. Lightning fast and tough to keep in front, Stokes was incredibly productive in a battle of Division VI powerhouses where Maumee Valley Country Day won on a last-second layup over Andrew's Osborne Academy. Stokes also turns defense into offense often and had a couple breakaway layups off steals. One of the top guards in northwest Ohio, expect Stokes to put up monster numbers in the TAAC this season.

One of the most athletic wings in Ohio, Jones is an impactful two-way wing who showed some intriguing flashes as a ball handler and creator. Taking a major leap in offensive role this winter, Jones will be looked to create offense in the half-court for Saint Ignatius with a younger team around him. Jones can also simply score over smaller defenders in the paint and overpowered the defense multiple times throughout the day. Defensively, Jones had a blocked shot that he put against the backboard to help jump start a fast break. Expect Jones to consistently make highlight plays this winter for one of the best teams in Ohio.

Hawken's Head Coach Anthony Burns put together this mega scrimmage and Hawken ducked no smoke throughout the day. Playing some top competition to prepare themselves for the regular season, their team got the chance to lace them up against some of the top teams in NEO to see where they stand. Against those top teams, Price was incredibly productive as a guard who checks a lot of boxes. A high IQ player, Price scored off cuts, being in the right place at the right time and attacking closeouts. With the strength to finish through contact, Price had multiple and-1 layups in the games I saw and was efficient from the floor. Hawken should be well prepared for their regular season schedule based on their competitive scrimmage slate this fall.
