Hawken’s Head Coach Anthony Burns put together this mega scrimmage and Hawken ducked no smoke throughout the day. Playing some top competition to prepare themselves for the regular season, their team got the chance to lace them up against some of the top teams in NEO to see where they stand. Against those top teams, Price was incredibly productive as a guard who checks a lot of boxes. A high IQ player, Price scored off cuts, being in the right place at the right time and attacking closeouts. With the strength to finish through contact, Price had multiple and-1 layups in the games I saw and was efficient from the floor. Hawken should be well prepared for their regular season schedule based on their competitive scrimmage slate this fall.

Hawken has a sleeper team in northeast Ohio with an 8-3 record, their 2026 duo of Daron Hill Daron Hill 6'2" | SG Hawken | 2026 State OH and Price have been key factors in their rise. We already had Hill in our rankings but Price enters as the 2026 combo guard is able to really shoot the ball off the catch or bounce and catch fire from 3-point range. Defenders can’t afford to go under ball screens when Price has it because he’s confident enough to knock down that shot a couple feet behind the line. For Price, getting quicker to improve his ability to create space for himself off the bounce and get into the paint should be an area of focus as he’s already one of the more skilled guards in northeast Ohio’s 2026 class.

Price is an impressive shooter who shoots a smooth ball off the catch or the bounce. His most impressive shot of the day came on a buzzer-beater to end the first half from a few feet behind the college line. Price and Hawken will be a team to watch over the next three years.
