But considering the individual and team performance of Dale, the player who played the best on the dale was the recent Tulsa signee. From the jump of their opening match up with Booker T Washington, Forsythe and his teammates were on a mission. Individually, he had it going from all over the court. Tough scores at the rim, smooth pull ups and making it rain from three. And he didn't force looks either. While the clear focal point for the Pirates, he kept the ball moving and got his teammates good looks as well. Based on the last few weeks, good luck to the rest of 2A as they try to take the crown from the four time defending Pirates.

Ready for War Match Up: Millwood vs Santa Fe

The pace and energy that hosts Edmond Santa Fe and the defending 3A champs, Millwood, played was more of the level of January. Or possibly even March. Both teams pressed, trapped, attacked and defended the rim with big time urgency. Even flying out to block threes, with the competive swagger that makes basketball so fun to watch. It shouldn't be shocking given the coaches on the sideline. Santa Fe is helmed by Oklahoma coaching legend Terry Evans. He has a young and athletic roster fired up and flying around with purpose. As evident by their no back down when defending the rim.

Dorrian Williams is only in his his third year with the Falcons, but already has added a Silver and Gold Ball to Millwood's trophy case. He's implemented a break neck pace and attitude into the Falcons. Their returning senior trio of stars would be enough to place them back into the conversation of best teams in Oklahoma regardless of class. But they're not alone in making high tempo, above the rim plays for the Falcons. Junior guard [player_tooltip player_id='2831214' first='Javier' last='Richards'] is now taller, stronger and more explosive. He impressed on Saturday, making Millwood that much deeper and setting the stage for a breakout junior campaign.

Two Way Game Changer

Sykes was all over the court, galvanizing the Knights on both ends. Already a bulldog like guard, he was stronger and with more explosiveness to block shots at the rim on defense. And to powerfully attack the basket. Along with the time in the weight room, he clearly has put in more time as a lead guard. Made smart feeds to cutting teammates and has been empowered to lead his team. Still plays fast and tough. While also looking like the game comes slower to him, leading to being in more control.

Most Improved Shooter

The biggest key to Crosslen's evolution into one of the top prospects in the Class of 2027 was adding a consistent jumper. It was only one day, but Crosslen was dialed in for Booker T Washington. His shot looked smooth and he was even dribbling into and draining jumpers. Including a scrimmage winning 18 footer in BTW's win against Crossings. If he keeps shooting like he did Saturday, his next level size and athleticism for a wing will make a priority for D1 programs next spring.

Mr Unlimited (Range)

Williams will be a four year starter and helped Owasso to their first State Championship as a sophomore. But he's not resting on his past accomplishments. He's been LOCKED IN for two different scrimmages this month. This time it was particularly impressive as he was draining threes from the volleyball line. If that's the type of range, and improved swagger he's going to play with, Owasso will have a strong chance to avenge their 6A quarterfinals loss last year. And Oral Roberts will have signed an absolute steal.
