2026s that will rise in the rankings update

It's been a long time coming since the last time that we dropped the rankings but with a full summer, showcases as well as Fall leagues, Wednesday is the time. We are dropping the 2026 rankings update this week. Here are a few names that will certainly rise this go-round.     [player_tooltip player_id='1622346' first='Judah' last='Michael'] 15-21    Michael is a player who will be making a jump, and it is simply because there are not many players in the state who can do what he does on the floor. He's an offensively gifted player who plays at all 3-levels, he scores in bunches, and his size is overwhelming for defenders. When he gets in a groove, he's able to single-handedly take over a game, and he also has the junior season and summer to back it up as well. Michael is a player who will help a school at the next level and is one of the state's best athletes. His upside is unreal ,and he will make a jump this go-round.     Jhett makes the rise because he had himself a solid junior season and went into the summer with something to prove. Well, he did just that after he put up solid tournaments as well as showcases where he showed that he's an impact player no matter the environment. Wells is a lights-out shooter; he attacks off the dribble and is a two-way standout that leads by example. He instantly made his team better every time that we saw him, and he's a winner. He will be a player that all eyes are on this season, and he is a player that will rise in the 2026 rankings.     Orji is the top player in the state that nobody is talking about. His stats are like nobody else in the class, but I feel that we just needed to see him a bit more before we pulled the trigger on him. Now that we have – he's arrived. He's going to make one of the bigger jumps in the rankings. We've seen him against other top players in the class, and quite frankly, it wasn't close. He scores with ease, has the size and athleticism to be a next-level player, and is a player that more eyes should be on. We liked what we saw from him this summer, and we are excited to see more this upcoming year.     Kingsley is a game-changer and a release when all eyes are on other players, yet he tends to continue to stand out. He's able to affect the game in ways that goes beyond simply scoring and provides a spark. He's a floor spacer with his outside shot, he finishes well around the basket, and turns defense to offense. Windsor will look to repeat, and opposing teams will look to slow down their high-powered offense, and his ability to adapt to what defenses give him will continue to make him one of the better players in the conference. We like what we've seen with Brady and he's a player that will rise this rankings update.     Eason was one of the surprises of the summer. He certainly was one of the most improved, and he went into the summer ready to make a name for himself and did just that as he seemingly played in every tournament and showcase that we offered. It was never a doubt that he was one of the top defenders in the class as he's one of the few prospects in the entire state that defends all 5 positions, but it turned into him being a offensive weapon as well. He put the ball on the floor, shot the 3-ball and got out, and dunked in transition this summer. We also liked how he looked as a facilitator as well, which showcases a very polished game. We're eager to see if he takes that into the high school season as that will make one of the toughest teams to go against, that much more dangerous. Everything that Eason has got, he's worked for, and this rankings jump is no different.
