Jones had a solid junior campaign as the team's best facilitator while not being the team's de facto PG, but steps into a role this year where the ball will be in his hands this year and we're expecting a rise in every single category. He's a Swiss-army-knife type of player that brings scoring, playmaking, and athleticism to the team and seems to only be getting better. This was a summer of growth for him as he made it out to more events and wanted to prove that he belongs, and we like what we saw from him. Jones was a standout at multiple events this year and will only continue to rise. He will make a significant jump in the rankings after this summer, and we expect a big season out of him.

Lucas steps into a role as the team's top starter this season, and all eyes will be on him to carry the scoring load, but to also be a two-way force that has his way down low. He has good size as a 6'5 forward that attacks the paint, gets the ball inside, and takes advantage of slower bigs. He moves well, finishes at the basket, and runs the floor for easy finishes. He's also a rebounder who goes right up, keeps plays alive, and defends as well. This will be a year that a ton is asked of him, and I think he steps up to the plate. He makes a rise in the rankings this go round.

Moseley is a player that I feel should certainly get more attention, as I feel that he's a next-level guard. He plays with instinct, has a smooth game where he gets to his spots and scores in a variety of ways. I like the way he moves for a 6'2 guard that sees the floor well. He uses that size and puts defenders on his hip and still plays with balance. He played well for the Spartans a season ago, but this summer he wanted to get his name out there a bit more. He got out to events and showed where he stands amongst the state's best and won a few of those matchups. He's a player who certainly deserves to rise with his performance and goes into the season with a bump. Rowekamp is a player.

Rangel is as steady as they come, and in his junior year, something clicked for him. He went on a scoring barrage to finish off the season as he put up some monster numbers against some of the top teams in the state, while being the focal point of the offense. He scored in double figures in all but three games, led the team in assists, and just continued to show why he's one of the better scorers in the state. I'm curious to see the type of season that he has as he's capable of getting his team some wins. I'm expecting another big season for him and think Heritage will turn some heads this season, which will get him some extra attention. He makes a pretty big jump in the rankings this go-round.

Pears arguably has the highest ceiling in this class as a 6'8 who continues to get better every single time that we've seen him, and with how he performed this summer, showed exactly what makes him special. He's in a groove right now, and he's a two-way star in the making. He defends at a high level as he's blocking and altering shots at the rim, he runs the floor well for run-out finishes and dunks, and also showed the ability to shoot the mid-range as well. His game has matured from the start of the summer to now; he seems to be coming into his own, and you can tell that he's constantly working on his game. This season, Palmer Ridge should will look towards that growth and for him to use his size as an advantage. That team has solid balance, and with a big man who can affect the game on both ends of the floor, that makes them that much more dangerous. He makes a huge rise in the rankings after seeing him a few times in our events this summer, and coaches need to get eyes on him.
